IHSH-295-BB - 14oz Selvedge Denim Western Shirt - Black/Black
-
Just stumbled upon this thread and wanted to add some progress photos
I am at about 18 months of wear on my 295-BB
Finished top 50 in last year’s redline rally and doing the second year now with it in the (re)dline category
Just did a first machine wash and it really took away a lot of the dirt and grime that was on it. The contrast popped quite significantly post wash.
Hoping to have one of the more worn in black shirt/jackets out there and showcase this awesome fabric’s character.

Fuck yeah dude! This shirt looks sooooo good!!! Bravo! I am so glad I have one of these shirts. Makes me not too bummed about selling my (too big) 16oz SBG Western.

@ah_long really awesome fades man. The 295 line up is just crazy.

Some photos from the monthly updates!

@ah_long wow!!

A few hand washes in the first year, did its first machine wash a few weeks ago
With half a year left in the contest and with the current wear pattern, I am thinking of incorporating regular machine washes (once a month or so) and see how it does. I was surprised at how much dirt and grime was covering the shirt when it came out of the machine cycle.

@Ross Hey Ross, what is your weight bud? I’m 6’4 and 230lbs, and I always look at what size you wear when looking at the tops. It gives me a good idea what size I should get. In the staff chart it shows just your height. I’m just getting my first top items, so I wasn’t 100% sure on the sizes. Thank you

@Bane Hey Mate, im around 240lbs and while i'd love to say its muscle - it isn't
..Which is why we give all the rest of our measurements on that chart, height/weight alone isn't the best judge to go by with everyone being a slightly different shape.
Checking the dimensions of something that fits you well already (using our measurement guide) and comparing to the size chart really is the best way to go. I'd hate for you to pick up my size in the shirt just based on a height/weight comparison only to find yourself with sleeves too long or shoulders too small.
