Fullcount denim

Seems a bit average that the red tab has to be cut off…
You'd think as the Full Count dealer for Europe (or UK, can't remember which), SOAS could have them made without the tab.
@dylantbmayes I was a bit surprised as there is no indication on-line that they would be sold without a tab. Not over-fussed, though.

I just got a pair of black sulfer dyed FC's from a US dealer and they have the tab attached still. Ill post some pics when i have some
I also bought a pair of Strike Golds a year ago and the tab was cut off and placed in the 5th pocket. Sucks they gotta get cut off, but nice that $300 jeans dont look like $50 Levis -
For the true repro brands, creativity is not where it's at. What they are obsessed about is creating the best version of something that has been made before.
The exact opposite of this is Haraki. When I asked him to make me a 1955 cut he was seriously not interested. There was virtually no way he could express his creative flair…..he made them under sufferance, and I suspect to shut me up....

1101 W31 (sized 1 down)
The 13.75oz denim stretches like hell, but I like it very much. Great and simple/basic pair, love it.
Thanks to @VaterundSohn for let me cheat on IH -
pleasure

Very nice @beautiful_FrEaK @Jeansman @JCMx800

Perfect fit. Too bad I should not buy any new stuff.

Don't change a thing as they look about perfect to me. They will definitely stretch in the waist and pretty quickly. What do you think of the denim? It gets lots of vertical falling and a variety of colors. Dont get attached to the arcs as they disintegrate fast [emoji1]

Thats the pair of jeans you always wanted Flo

@Max:
Finally got me a pair of FC as well, couldn't resist them. Size 34 onewash is snug with a waist of 34,5" but I'm sure they'll stretch perfectly. Just the very long inseam (above 36") is bugging me, as I don't want to loose the nice chainstitch I'll probably have to wear a double cuff.
I'm finding it difficult to resist the idea of a couple of pairs of raw 1101 XXs to use for hot/dirty/rough garden and other outdoor work to exploit their fade potential…...
-
Yes, that could be the one. Just have to decide wether to cuff or hem.

I did succumb to temptation and 2 pairs of W33 L36 raw 1101 XXs have arrived. It looks as if Son of a no red tab Stag is the only place in the world (apart from the FC Japan on-line shop) to have them in stock! I needed a 36 leg as 34 would shrink too short and W33 is the smallest waist size in that length. Judging from comparable measurements from Blue in Green, I thought they might be far too big, but the unshrunk waist has no slack so I think they'll be a good fit.

I am really enjoying my 1101XXs which are 15.5oz denim. I've worn them evenings and weekends since the beginning of September for outdoor and garden work and machine washed them twice. There is some (welcome) shrinkage and leg twist and small signs of electric blue are appearing. They are still quite roomy and long, but I've also landed myself a pair of raw 1108XXs in the same denim and size (33 x 36). These are a slimmer cut but not as slim as the 1109 cut of the Fullcount 'stand alone' 21oz.

Got hot again here so my fresh from the wash 1101 are temporarily back into rotation.
I want to hem them but dont want to lose the roping
