@Anesthetist Looking good! 34 or 36 leg? I would like to try try some undersized 1101XXs but am limited by the need for a 36 leg. I will shortly be breaking in some raw 1108XXs which are much snugger and 15.5 Oz Type 1 jacket. I have started breaking in a raw 15.5 Oz Type 2 jacket with my 1101XXs. It will take a while for the stiffness to come out of the jacket, no wash, no soak. The pockets on the Type 2 are enormous - much larger than those in my LVC 506 and 507XXs and my Type 1 IHJ31. @Giles never did explain how I got a Type 1 out of Type 2 model!

I'm in the same Situation - my FCs are way too Long, but I love the chainstitch and roping so much I'm not really convinced to get them hemmed.
-
Don't! What's wrong with a really long single cuff or a double cuff if one is opposed to the former? Always prefer that to hemming.
-
These are the 36" model. Great jeans but I wish I would have sized down one as the Zimbabwe cotton is stretchy.

I think that huge single cuffs look awful mostly because nowadays every rockabilly guy seems to think the need a single cuff to the middle of the shins. And a double or triple cuff makes the jeans fall weird and feels like ankle weights. I'm really no fan of cuffs at all, if any I prefer a small single cuff. But the jeans are way too long for that.

Having read this and being new to Fullcount, how much will they stretch? A vendor has some of the 1894, which look fantastic, but the thigh and rise seems all wrong for me.
I actually think I answered my own question. I'll have to pass, I'm sure.

I've got 2 pairs of 1101XXs, 1 pair of 1108XXs with a couple more on the way and 3 pairs of 1109-21oz, all in size 33, with the long 36 inch leg.
The 1109 are a close fit, low rise and beautiful cut. I bought them raw and have washed 1 pair a couple of times carefully. I couldn't have sized down on those and the length is good, not too long. I love them and the 21oz denim.
The 1101XX are 15.5 oz. I bought them raw and have since washed 1 pair a few times. I can wear them without a belt, just, but would undersize to 32 or even 31 in this cut if the sub 33 sizes came with the 36 leg, which they don't. There aren't many raw 1101XXs around at present - I don't know if they're still making them, but I think you can get raw 1101s in the 13.7oz denim.
The 1108XXs look particularly promising. They are a closer fit than the 1101 but not as close as the 1109. Again, I bought them raw but haven't started wearing them. I don't think I could have sized down in those.
My policy for buying raw jeans is to buy them to fit and not to make allowance for shrinkage. I have never been caught out by shrinkage and I don't wear jeans loose. I do make allowance for stretch when buying 25oz Iron Heart, but don't allow for shrinkage when buying UHR.
I have also got a couple of raw Fullcount Type 2 15.5 oz jackets and I'm waiting for a couple of raw Fullcount 15.5 oz Type 1s. I've started wearing 1 of the Type 2s raw. It is Size 42 (the biggest) and is similar in size to my Iron Heart size 44 Type 1 IHJ 31 but with shorter sleeves - I have to cuff the IH sleeves. I have a couple of old Lee Cowboy Cinch Back 1011 Jackets in size 42 which are quite a tight fit. 1 is pretty well shot to bits, the other, I've only worn a couple of times.
I would think the Fullcount jackets will end up bigger than the Lee after shrinkage. The arms are quite thin, though, so probably not the best for guys with big biceps.
I have quite a few raw and well worn LVC Types 1, 2 and 3 jackets but they're mostly size 48 with a couple of Type 1s in Size 52, so all rather big on me, but good for wearing on top of 1 or 2 smaller jackets when its cold.
Has anyone any experience of the Fullcount jackets?

Cool fit @Jeansman !
-
Thanks @501/IH . It will be interesting to see how they fit after washing, but I don't think they will be as snug as my pair of LVC 1955 501 W31 L38. I reckon I could wear the FC 1101XXs raw in size 30 if I was able to get hold of a pair.
-
You ought to try! Judging from the look of the 31s, a really tight fit in a 30 would look killer!
-
Yes, well @501/IH , I'm sure you're right! I could get a pair of size 30 in London at a price, but with the red tab cut off!
-
Jeansman, if you have the funds and the time to do justice to them, I think it would be worth it. I personally would not so terribly mind the cut-off red tab, as it's the feel and look of the denim Fullcount uses that makes me such a fan, but if it's a big issue for you, how about obtaining them at Denimio?
As long as they fit so you can barely button them, they should be awesome. -
Sadly, @501/IH , funds are in short supply at present and the £269 charged by Son of a Stag is over the top. I agree that the red tab doesn't really matter (one of my favourite pairs of jeans at the moment is a pair of Full Count 1109 21 oz without the red tab). The 1101XX in raw state is in very short supply. Denimio is out of stock and although the FC on-line shop has stock I can't read Japanese order forms and have been told they don't supply outside Japan.

I'm with ya, one has to watch ones budget, I'm on a 2017 denim austerity programme myself. With doubts how long and thorough I'll last…
Let's rock our existing denim hard, that's always good! My one really beat up pair of Fullcounts is one of my absolute faves anyway.
