@simon626:
hahaha yea, i definitely would not wear my IH around China or South Eastern Asian country….It's humid, hot, and the rain is warm sometimes....
Still, i'd bring my IH's with me and at least wear them once in that country so that i can say my IH have been to that country! ^_^
I was wearing my 634s the whole month last year on my holiday in Indonesia and they're still comfortable to wear even when one day reached 40 degrees celcius. I guess I'm just used to the warm weather there

@tfar:
The workmanship on those jeans looks on par with IH, I must say.
The difference being that Iron Heart could construct a pair of 14 oz jeans with their eyes shut in their lunch break. Simon Miller would not have one sewing machine capable of touching 21oz denim. That is the essential point about Iron Heart, it is not just beautifully crafted stuff, it is extremely technically difficult to do - that is part of its fascination…G

That is certainly true. Still general attention to detail and workmanship is very good. And I really like the color and quality of the fade. Price is quite high. The ones I looked up were like $275. I'd probably rather get an IH 634S for $45 more in 21oz. On the other hand, if I were looking for a jeans in a lighter weight with the same level of craftsmanship these might fit the bill. Of course, there are the new 1220 that are still appealing.

yeah - and u should always have warm feelings for ur first pair of raw denim…
I remember being extrememly excited about my first pair from SE, my Imperial dukes. Now, in retrospect, what the fuck was I thinking????? I am not 100% disappointed with them, however, I'd much rather have gotten 3001's or F310's or the 05's (that was around the time I bought the dukes). And my samurais…Shiiiiiitttttttt... Dukes felt like silk compared to 19oz of rock hard weave. Alas, but I still have a Very large spot in my heart for my evisu's of old. Haha, Simon was probably in the 8th grade when I got em. Hahahaha

At Lake Merritt again on this beautiful Saturday Oakland morning…my hair is growing back (Beats and dead)...my hair grows super fast. You'd think I take pregnancy pills or something.
I can't resist dogs as you know. Teeny, weeny ones adore Lacy. Look at the size difference between this minuscule creature I bumped into during my morning Lake Merritt walk – and Lacy ! Lacy is a gentle giant...she's very kind to all creatures great and small.

stewart, I saw these in person at the Inspiration LA Event. They are nothing short of incredible. The amount of attention to detail was insane. You gotta love the double patch, double coin pocket, diff arc coloring, etc.. Nice pic up now put them on and let's see how they fit!

The right hand twill and left hand twill combo is going to bring about a really cool looking pair of jeans afetr you put them through the ringer!

Does anyone know of a company that makes good/high quality cargo pants? Maybe a little slimmer fitting than usual…
