I'm a merino/darn tough sock wearer. However, everything iron heart makes seems to be great. I wonder if cotton socks.can be? The way I roll, I have a 3 pair of darn tough that I rotate. Wear, hang up. The merino cleans itself pretty well just having access to the fresh air. Then I do a was every month or so. Cold by hand, hang dry. Is there any way these can compete?

These are probably the best cotton socks I've ever owned. They keep up pretty well, but in my experience they arent as good as wool from killing odors, not getting cruchy if worn a few times, keeping me warm/dry, and breathing as well. Also these engineer versions are VERY LONG. Definitely over-the-calf length for me.
I do like these socks, though but I can't wear them universally in all my shoes as they are generously padded.
