IHSH-366-IND - 8oz Herringbone Hickory Stripe Work Shirt - Indigo
-
@SKT I usually wear size L in the IH workshirts. When I tried this on in L, it was a little snug in all the important spots for me.
This experience is of course only for this particular L, others may certainly run larger. I then went with an XL.
The best thing is to contact the crew of Iron Heart directly, they can certainly help you and find the right shirt for you.
But it is worth it in any case.Cheers

@Elephantricity It’s L - nice fit. Agree with the wise words mentioned above re. size and material. Indigo comes alive real quick. Pardon late reply, Hickory got me…
-
@SKT hey bro. I went with my standard size large. It does feel a touch long in the sleeve. I do plan to try and get a touch of shrink out of it when it does come time to wash. Gonna start slow and do a cold wash. Then a warm wash on the next round. See how that goes. But to be honest, I’m happy with it now. Any small tightening up will be a bonus.
-
@Mizmazzle thanks man. I’ll be interested to hear how it responds when you douse it. This shirt has grown on me so much. And, like you said, it fills an empty spot style-wise in my closet
-
This shirt is the MVP of the FW23 season thus far. The fit, wearability, texture and fade potential are on point. The perfect piece for transitioning fall weather.

A little shirty update. In the fight for its life, the fish tore off the lowest button. I was thinking of replacing it with a red-Filthy-one. What cha think?
Also! The indigo started popping tonight! It’s like chasing the Northern Lights. You spend hours, maybe sometimes weeks looking intensely for clues to see if you catch them. Then suddenly they are above you and it’s happening. Right now. Elbows and creases are happening.
I’ve also seen to have made a new version of a selfie: a selfpunchie?
Lastly, just like to add that I love the thickness, texture, feel, breath ability and that the neck is big enough in L that I can button up the top button. Hickory-duckory-dock! This shirt is rock…

@denim-dawg damnnn I'm so surprised how fast the elbows are fading, despite every mention of this shirt prior to its launch mentioned how well it was gonna fade...
-
-
@denim-dawg whoa dude! I’ve been having a hard time imagining what this shirt would look like faded! Just blew my mind! Thought I’d save this one for date nights! Maybe I’ll have to throw some date night wrestling in the mix to unlock the potential here!

@Mizmazzle whatever rocks your oz, bro 🥰 Sounds like a healthy relationship
It’s like it fades from the inside, like an internal bleeding. If that is a positive (which I feel this is). Never seen fades like this before - must be cause the 7 indigo soaks on the inside soaking through the dry black and white hickory… like “a mist leaves no scar on a dark, green hill”? -
Arrived today, first work shirt after many western cuts and i really like the fit
-
@Fades-for-future looking solid mate. You take the same size?
-
@Supersonic yes, XL in Western and XL in work
-
@Mizmazzle You still liking this one? Can you wear it in the summer? Looking for some good lighter weight options. Also like the black wabash but that's 12 oz.
-
@natefreezy love this shirt man. Super versatile weight. Can be worn on summer evenings I think. Course depends where ya live. Feels great with no undershirt.
