@denim-dawg it’s a beautiful life brother.
Curious, in the video is that your pale rider after being worn for months and then cleaned? It looks like it’s clean as a whistle compared to some of the ultra patinated shots we’ve seen of it recently. -
@Mizmazzle Agree, I’ll raise my cup to your health and that sentiment, good man! This is the only Pale Rider I’ve worn, and this was shot two weeks ago. I dare say it’s the inside that has gotten mega patina, while the outside is quite subtle, although it feels like it’s “shrunk” to fit my body and the arms and all feel amazing. Also, Terje has used quite light grading, so you don’t see the wear as much as you do here, which was shot a couple days ago:

Does this make any sense, my friend?

@denim-dawg yeah buddy. Thanks for the deets! Such an incredible shirt. Perhaps one day when the heavens open and shine down the blessing of the Pale Rider, I too will bask in its glory!
-
@Mizmazzle I’m positive the heavens do open for you, mate! Can’t wait to see your adventures with yours

I think you posted this a while back? Sorry for taking so long in getting back ️
“Curious about your process in producing these videos. Do you guys storyboard the ideas out beforehand or do you do most of this off the cuff? Either way, it is thoroughly enjoyable and very glad to see you collaborating with IH. Love you guys!!”
Firstly. Thank you so much for your kind words, interest and passion. Happy to answer as well as I can.
Part of this process and project is to let go, dare to do stuff we can’t do other places and to follow ideas to see how far they can go. With “low shoulders” as we say in Norway. The aim is also to do as different films as possible, and so the processes vary. But without a storyboard the chances of it failing are bigger. Then again, without daring to fail we won’t get anywhere haha
Truly, the fact that IH took a shot at us, wanting to collaborate with us, means so much. Also that we get to develop friendships, which is what is so darn attractive about this lifestyle, which the Forum opened up for me and @stitch.
When you guys mention stuff, that’s the biggest inspiration. With “glacier soak” we had two ideas that we were going to film, so we started the road movie and then the weather was so shit, we had to scram the other idea (which was to show how Haraki-San got his ideas and how he pulled the indigo shirt out of the blue glacier water like the sword Excalibur from the lake… yeah.. you get the gist), and also we didn’t realize how dangerous it was to swim during a storm and with no one around (and not having lit a fire etc). When we (thank God) made it back alive, and had a look at the footage, Terje thought DD reminded him of Hunter S. Thompson, and so I wrote a combination of “Fear and loathing” voice over. It took about 20 hours to edit, 4 to shoot and 7 hours traveling (drive, ferries etc). Plus planning and what not
But with the start of Indigo Invitational, I suggested it would be fun to take off into that silly small boat, as a symbolic start to everyone’s journey. The camera stood in the same place (love @stitch framing), and we did 8 takes, and used the first one. What’s so wonderful about working with @stitch is that we both dig hanging out together, and as long as we have a plan, we might come back with a different one because we work with and in such weather and season dependent elements.
The last films we have made using good-old-fashioned scripts made from scratch, be fun to hear if you see any difference and how you like them.
We have a backlog now of stuff that just didn’t feel right or once we did it, didn’t make us laugh. Hahahaha.. so when you respond the way you do, it really means the world to us, as we want to represent you and explore life as a denim connoisseur in the most enjoyable way. For everyone.
Please feel free to hit us with any questions and your comments are incredibly valuable and appreciated.

@denim-dawg thanks for that thoughtful explanation. The constant variables in your videos for me are @Stitch ’s exceptional filming, the epic scenery, and your larger than life personality. Those factors are such a powerful trifecta in the videos that it’s a solid recipe for success.
I think the humor of your unscripted videos shows how much fun you guys have hanging out and the spontaneity of a great friendship combined with such incredible talent.
The more recent videos seem to take on a thoughtful perspective in regards to life and passion for the subtleties of a life well lived. Scripting this sort of analysis seems only logical to develop a complex idea in a coherent and fluid way.
I know I speak for many of us when I say, these videos are so much fun to watch and put a voice and picture to how we all feel and aspire to live…both in denim and in virtue.

@denim-dawg Keep up the great work! This community has been a big part of my life for a long time and I continue to get more and more out of it. Your contributions are the latest example of that for me. Thank you for making such great content!
