-
@indigostiff no I have a partner , she has another wardrobe
-
What do y’all think about the sunlight-gap in the thigh stitching??
-
@indigostiff I have no experience with this my friend, anyway contact Soso, they should solve the problem easily
-
@indigostiff do you think this is a manufacturing defect, or just an unfortunately by-product of the fabric being so hefty?
-
@T4920 I have two pairs of 33oz and I have not encountered this problem, but with such a heavy and difficult to work fabric it could be, however I am sure they will solve the problem in a very short time, it seems that it is simply a seam that needs to be redone, nothing irreparable

From Rain — I think I’ll just let them be - SoSo didn’t respond —
“ I would imagine the outseam stitching tension is just a bit skewed since the jeans are so heavyweight - most sewing machines are not able to sew fabric that thick/dense. Unfortunately I don't work on any jeans heavier than 25oz because of this - the denim is so heavy it can be impossible to get through without a much heavier custom setup conversion on the machines, and mine are already set up for heavyweight work. I caution people against extra heavyweight denim like this because almost no one is able to sew through them post-production, effectively making them unable to be repaired or altered.
As long as the stitching line is intact you should be fine but if you have concerns about the stitching or any other quality issue I would contact Soso directly since they are new.
Thanks,
Rain” -
@indigostiff yes I think so too, but you were right to point it out because if a stitch is missed they will fix them promptly, the fabric is truly deadly I really don't know how they sew it honestly

I think their fading potential is awesome but for some reason it made me feel awkward that so many "denimfluencers" were suddenly wearing SoSo .. don't know if cooperations are common in selvedge denim world and sure IH is no underdog but still it feels off for me
