@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot PALE RIDER IN THE HOUSE!!! As of late you've been on quite a tear in the leather game. Well played.

@october-rust dig your Docs, which model are those? Chelseas? I just bought a pair of teal Oxfords but damn they gave me a blister just walking one of my dogs around the neighborhood! Did you (or anyone else into Docs) have that problem? I'm thinking it might be bc the Oxfords are low cut like shoes?
-
lordy, I'm only 1cup of tea deep and there are already some serious fits today (I'm writing this in my 70 sweatpants + 1610 T feeling pretty feeling cozy, no shame (well maybe a little bit of shame haha!)

@Inorganic turns out I like wearing dead things….
-
@Mizmazzle guess I’m gonna need some Vibergs now.

yes my friend they look like 2976, chelsea boots, I have collected Doc , Solovair and Gripfast from the end of the eighties until now (every now and then I wear a pair, it reminds me of my adolescence ). Unfortunately they must be uncomfortable and hurt until they break (now a little less so since they shipped the bulk of the oriduction to Asia), classic Smoth leather needs a good re-tooling and causes blisters and pain .

@Oaktavia @Luijim78 is exactly right, they’re the 2796 Vintage Chelsea’s! Partially got these because the break in is a lot easier, no discomfort on my heel at all. I absolutely love Docs but the break in is brutal. I’ve also really wanted a pair of the Oxfords but don’t want to go through the process of breaking in another pair hah

@october-rust hah nice I figured as much. I have been eyeing down the Oxfords so that I could wear a semi-smart shoe out to dates with my wife. When I saw the teal was on sale for $55 off, I couldn't resist. My wife on the other hands laughed (unsurprisingly) at the turquoise/teal colorway. I guess I'll just keep wearing them to break 'em.
@Luijim78 they remind me of my youth as well. I was happy to see some on here. I'll do my best to break in these teal Oxfords. I imagine they will look pretty awesome when they are broken in with patina (smooth leather). I think they would look great with shorts too. Thanks for the info my friend.
