IMPORTANT REPAIR INFORMATION BELOW - PLEASE READ
Hello, my fellow Denim fanatics. I just wanted to run through the repair plans for the party. I will be doing repairs on Saturday. Like last time, there will be a limited number of slots—the magic number will be 15. I will only be doing small repairs, such as crotches, thigh, and knees. I won't be doing any pockets or anything that takes considerably more time.
All repairs must be given to me on Friday (ideally) or early on Saturday. The later you leave them, the more likely they will not be done on that day.
If anyone needs pocket repairs, you can drop them off at the party, and they will be done at a later date. You will still need to pay for the postage back to you once they are completed, but this will save you half on shipping when bringing them with you to the party.
I am happy to take in 2 pairs as long as they are small repairs; but any more pairs will need to be done post-party.
You will still need to fill out the Repair form like usual link Here so that I can double-check everything before accepting them for repair. I will need you to please state on the repair form that it is for a “Party Repair.” Then, once it is confirmed and I know the work can be carried out, I will send you the free repair product. You will need to select the "stacking option" as your shipping carrier. This is so I have the names and a list of people for party repairs. If I feel like your repair will take longer, I will make this clear at the point of submission and send you a different link to purchase the repair product with a shipping fee (still bring them with you to save one-way shipping).
Hemming is separate from the repairs but will be available on Saturday
Lastly all jeans NEED TO BE WASHED, anyone giving me unclean jeans will not get their jeans fixed, this is a basic requirement for our repair service and is very east to spot.

@Tago-Mago The shop is open to visitors on Saturday and Sunday only - Friday we have normal day of work, and the festivities will start at around 5pm when the bus comes to take people to the brewery

OK, so we have some slightly firmer plans now...
FRIDAY
The office / warehouse will not be open to visitors. We need to get our normal work done and the decks cleared so that the weekend is set up as we would like it. We have organised bus transport from the office to Staggeringly Good. If you want to make use of this, please meet outside Unit 21 Cooperage Green at 5pm. The bus will leave between 5.15 and 5.30. This is a one way service only, you will need to ask a local your best options for making it back to wherever you are staying.
For those not using the bus service, make your way to Staggeringly Good Brewery (Unit 10, St Georges Industrial Estate, Rodney Rd, Southsea, Portsmouth, Southsea PO4 8SS) any time from 5pm. Some of the crew will be there to welcome you.
At the brewery, there will be beer (duh) and also a food truck serving BBQ food. Please note that the Friday event is not catered by us, you will need to buy your own food and drink. To those travelling from overseas the currency here is Pound Sterling, not Euros, but I would recommend using your bank/credit card or Apple/Android Pay generally, as cash is not always accepted in some places.
The menu for the food will be something along these lines:
)SATURDAY
The warehouse and shop will open from 12pm. We will have a bar of various beers from Staggeringly Good, some natural wines and soft drinks open from 12 - late. Anything listed on the webstore at the time of the event will be available to try on at the shop. There will be a party t-shirt and another round of party zippos for sale, as well as some limited giveaways (one only to shop customers), so come early to avoid disappointment.
From 6pm, we will have food served by the same catering duo as last party here. Fire & Flank will be flamethrowering flank steaks over chips or mash, and Coastal Kitchen will be serving up a big pan of vegan jerk rice, and chicken (halal) shawarma wraps.
There will be music on all day, but from around 7pm we will have a live vinyl DJ set for a couple of hours whilst people make good use of the bar. We'll close when the last crew member wants to go to bed.
SUNDAY
We will reopen the doors at 11am, the shop will be open again for anyone that did not buy everything they needed the day before, or for any retail therapy to nurse your hangovers. Coastal Kitchen will be serving up some bacon/sausage baps and plenty of tea and coffee for people, and anyone needed hair of the dog will be able to get their hands on whatever is left from the night before.
Looking forward to seeing everyone soon!
