IHSH-59 - Metallic Thread Flannel Western Shirts
-
Crazy how quick these went!
Regarding red v black, I think both are gorgeous and it might be my favorite black IH flannel yet. That said it is not a million miles away from the IHSH-47 (clearly different, but just not massively so), so in terms of spending $300 on a new shirt it felt easier to justify the red. That, plus the early pictures of the red from months ago when it was in the pipeline probably left an impression on a lot of people I guess…

The black looks like a shirt for a proper rock star…..and I always wanted to be a rock star

Mine has arrived
Pictures and review later when I get out of work.

As someone from the East Midlands I can back that up - anyway, looking forward to the first fit pic!

You're from the East Mids BK? ???
Anyway, on with the pics…...
Random thoughts…..
The quality is (as always) second to none.
The material is exactly as Giles said, definitely not girly, but has an edge to it. I said that it looked like a shirt for a Rock Star, and I absolutely stand by this. This is the ultimate Rock and Roll flannel shirt, with a tint of Heavy Metal about it.
The fit is almost exactly the same as my IHSH-31 in the same size, which is my best fitting shirt, so definitely pleasing.
Not as soft, or instantly comfortable as the 31, but I guess that is because it isn't brushed.
I would describe this as a flannel that could be dressed up, I definitely would feel totally comfortable in this on just about any night out, bars, clubs etc.....
I think that this will be one of those shirts that people actively "hunt" in years to come, I tip it for legendary status, and many people damning themselves that they did not pick up when they had the (very limited) chance to.
As I read D666 said earlier about his new SD's, "it's a keeper".
