Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

It would be like putting on one of those lead aprons they make you wear when you get dental xrays. And the cost…
-
They already make something vaguely similar, and it only costs £600…..

if I were a Steampunk cosplayer that jacket would work perfectly

That thing is body armor.

I would also be interested in an alpaca lined v neck vest. That grey whipcord from this year with a simple symmetrical two pocket cut would be great…

like these ones from The Real McCoys?

V-neck though.
The Real McCoys vest is a v-neck. I think they just look different because of the angle at which the pics were taken

@UnTucked I'm not sure if a leather M65 would work too well in a stiff leather, since they have drawstrings at the waist and opening. Cockpit USA offer one in lambskin (on sale here), and I'm not sure if it's entirely successful.
The older M1941 works better in leather, because it's basically a 1930s half belt jacket. This one is by Norshore Leather.
The IHM-21 Peacoat would work in leather, but would be a bit of a beast. Lost Worlds do one, but we're probably not ruggedly masculine enough to wear them.
The upcoming IHJ-65 Mountain Parka might work better in leather than an M65, but it's got drawstrings too.

I would like to see a '47 style jean. True high rise, full/wide leg, minimal taper. It seems like this style is missing from the lineup.
I know you aren't a repro brand, but there are a lot of people who don't like slim fit jeans.
+1

From my own experience in the Army, no one actually uses the drawstring or the hood in the modern day (This is still an issued item)….. There's an unspoken understanding that the hood and drawstrings are there only by happenstance (And IF you did use them you'd get chewed out by a First Sergeant or Sergeant Major somewhere... They have a radar that tells them when people use them, lol), so I never even considered those parts in my imaginings, lol!
But, as I said, the good thing about SB is that they allow customer input and design variations, from leather choices, linings and zippers, to pocket placement. So, if someone feels they lack the "scrotal fortitude" ( )
to tame the beast, they could adjust. Also, I was imagining it "unlined", as well, for maximum conformity to the wearers body.....*I came across Lost Worlds in search of a leather pea coat a couple years ago... Never got around to buying one, but it's still on my list (Probably from SB... I hear the guy at Lost Worlds can be a pain to work with.....). Have you seen the green moose hide pea coat he made a few years back?!

I haven't had the benefit of a tour of duty in the US Army, so I don't know the proper way to wear an M65.
I could see how the Simmons Bilt GT could be reworked to make an M65. If you get one, I'll be interested to see how it turns out.
In my mind, Stuart of Lost Worlds looks like a mountain man version of Andreas Cahling. In reality, I suspect that he's overcompensating somewhat. :o
But I've heard that he can be hard work to deal with. His jackets look good, though. I haven't seen the moose peacoat before, but I do like it.

Damn, I don't really like pea coats, but that thing is beautiful. I have a weakness for green leather, apparently.
I'm gonna have to find some moose hide, too…

“Iron Heart Racing Shirt”
Inspired by the new perforated IHUSA jacket, how about an unlined IHJ-35 made with the split steer from the IHJ-49.
Brass hardware, red ventile pockets.
