Been in Osaka for a few weeks, and made it in to see Kenta

Peekaboo! Quick drop-in from The Outback

I haven't been around here for quite a while, and my selfie skills have suffered as you can see...

But, I've been feeling good lately, which in turn has had me digging through the closet for things to help me (try to) look good as well. Luckily, I shit have a smörgåsbord of awesome Iron Heart gear to get'er done! Including these sexy corduroys that I recently purchased from the Osaka shop ( Big thanks to Kenta san! )

Pic is wonky, but it fits the weird inception of the outfit: Duck on Duck, and UnTucked in an Untucked!

I kinda dig the strap it comes with also, save the excessive writing/words. Fits perfectly with certain outfits or styles, but I'll definitely need a NATO for smoother and less "standing out" fashion days.

All is well, and the family is well. It's Maddy's birthday, actually. And we will soon have all 3 kids graduated from high school. Twins a full year early, and baby girl will be graduated at 15yrs old! Time is flying by Bro!

But back on the topic of less intimidating watches, I'm thinking to re-buy a brass Maranez Talay. I sold mine to @sabergirl several years ago, and I really miss it

It was a "great idea", and we all know how those typically turn out…..

Likely, my disdain for the process and results is due to my less-than-stellar adherence to methods/protocol, and habitual corner cutting... because there are some great examples of DIY waxed jackets out there (Modern and vintage), but mine DID NOT turn out like that, lol! I ended up, after HOURS spent waxing over 2-3 days, just putting it in the clothes dryer on HIGH and melting out the wax. It was splotchy/patchy, greasy, and it held on to dog hair and lint more than a wool sweater, which particularly sucks, because it's lined with alpaca.....

She's currently at a collection of four UHF's (IHSH-337-GRN, IHSH-206-BRN, IHSH-182, and IHSH ??? blue buffalo check, but not indigo), and she has been saying for YEARS that a navy blue and red UHF would be great
