@John-Galt I love a Viberg side zip. Right up there with their engineers. I don't understand why they continue to force their brand/aesthetic onto a dress shoe. They've attempted a "dress shoe/boot" five or six times this season. Two seasons ago it was Crockett & Jones they were emulating. This season it's Alden.

@Oaktavia Do you ever have any kids start wearing IH because they took your class? I'd have to imagine this stuff sticks out when compared to what most high schoolers wear.

@kantian I teach middle school so not a whole lot notice at that age. Some do and think it's cool but mostly it goes under the radar students. Staff notice more actually but no converts yet.

@kantian I also wish Viberg would go back to their roots for at least a portion of there releases. Their side zip was my first Viberg purchase and my favorite and most worn boot. I did fortunately pick up a second pair before they ceased production of the makeup. I regret not purchasing their engineer boot while still available.

@@John-Galt I don't have an issue with incorporating new styles, but do it incrementally. Find one or two styles you really love and make those in a couple of different leathers.
