IH-526J Indigo 21oz Selvedge Denim Type III

I am usually a xl in ih tops but like my tops on the slim and shorter side. The large does seam like it would fit the way I prefer but I'm not completely sure
-
Ok I'm waiting on the restock to happen..I asked my wife to buy it for me as a Xmas present. I'm in a pickle because I also want a pair of boots but unfortunately we can only afford one or the other.

just saw kiya had a large in stock and pulled the trigger…. was a rough decision between the M and the L. My last type III was a levi's raw in M, but measured today and it is spot on with the Ironheart L.... hope I made the wise decision as I like these pretty fitted and I'm fairly thin
wear L in all iron heart tops, some roomier than others....
6'6" tall, true 40" inch chest and normally between 17.5"(absolute minimun) and 18.5" maximum on my shirt shoulders. my old typeIII has 18.5" shoulders so I would imagine this will allow for any layering.. etc... -
Seawolf, your job looks like a lot more fun than mine! Great photo!

recieved my Ih526j from kiya yesterday… im gonna try to get some fit pics posted to see what the general consensus is. The chest is pretty much on point, with a tshirt just a bit of room, with a midweightt flannel its pretty tight... when moving arms in the back stretches tight across the shoulders... I might have been able to get away with a medium.... but, my sleeves are already sitting about an inch and a half from where past Type III have sat (my old levis American made type III sat just above my thumb knuckle on my wrist, this is well above my wrist). The odd thing is that in measurement the two jackets measure EXACTLY the same... Could these differences be do to the 21 oz denim not having a chance to relax yet?

Yeah kinda agree…. Bummed. Guess this'll be going up FS if anyone interested. Such a nice jacket too
-
Probably a long shot, haven't had to do it with heavy weight material but think there is any chance I would get any stretch out if the sleeves if I got them wet and did the step and pull method?? Don't really have the possibility of returning it cause my son got destructive while I wa in the shower this morning and yanked the sales tag off of it.

Yes I figured that to be the case… And I've always been a type III kinda guy I love them. Have had several in the last 13 years. It's a staple in my wardrobe.. The 527 is nice but just not me.

Yeah… I don't think I can justify a jacket of that price not fitting proper... I'm sure ill find a buyer
