IH-301S

Spring Son of Light I went TTS on the 301s and they are my best fitting jeans. My size is 34.
Thanks Twin, I decided to stick with TTS. While I could have pulled off the next size down, I think the rise would have looked silly (I hate the slouchy thing).
BTW, how often have you washed your pair? Do you machine wash?

I washed them 5 or 6 times by hand.

Cool thanks! I will probably go the way of the machine when the time comes. How long did you wait for the first wash?

So I'm curious to know what you guys think of the fit on my 301s. I went TTS, and while the waist has stretched a bit after a week a wear, I think they're pretty comfortable. It hasn't stretched a ton since I went TTS, but has sort of mellowed out. I wear a belt with all my jeans so I wasn't that concerned with a slightly loose waist, as long as the rest looks good…
I'm still wondering if I should have gone down to a 31 and gone through the stretching process. What frankly stopped me was the rise; because of my heigh and build, the lower the rise the sillier I look. I think these look pretty good, obviously I'm not going for the boyfriend jean look here, though maybe they'd have looked better a size down? What do you guys think? Should I have sucked it up and sized down??

for a women, I think one size down wouldn't be that bad.

Thanks for the input dudes! This is what I need to hear. I just always second guess myself when buying selvedge denim online without being able to try on different sizes. I have a feeling there would have been some unpleasantries with the rise, if you know what I mean, had I sized down. The slight extra waist room (i'm talking like a half an inch) is not that bothersome, I can live with it. It's actually good for when I want tuck in a shirt.
In any event, I am a big believer in having slightly more room in the top block for the sake of the jean lasting longer. If they're too tight up there the crotch always blows too soon!
