Man riff, that fit is on point! holy shit. definitely glad those jeans went to a good home. I'm waiting on my 555-01s that will be replacing my 301s… hope they fit as good as those do on you.

thanks man,  i'm really happy with these.  thank you for selling em to me.  i was a little scared they were hemmed too short but they are actually kinda perfect.

Yea man, I got my 555-01 in today and though they're a perfect fit, I got them hemmed a bit too long. Wish I'd cut them to the length of those 301s though. I'll post a fit tonight in the 555-01 thread.

And yes, the denim is amazing. Rigid as hell, but buttery smooth (until you get them wet anyway). Completely impenetrable due to the tight weave, so they don't really breathe at all. Perfect cold-weather denim. Hell on hot, humid days though. This denim will shrink fairly noticeably with the first wash, btw. At least mine did.
