Merz beim Schwanen

Thanks, @Dion!
-
imho, this looks like a great fit…. @BloodnThunder
-
Thanks @illo59 I'm pretty happy with it. Will not be my last Merz piece.

Cool Outfit @BloodnThunder the Jacket is Amazing.
Does anybody own one of the Hoodies, the grey one is tempting especially with the nice RiRi Zipper ?

I just bought 2 1950s t-shirts in xxl. First impressions are honestly, they feel cheap. The neck is not meant to stretch out, but very obviously does. They don't hold their shape well. I have to say I'm really disappointed. I am a larger guy too and the thinner material is unforgiving.
Sadly IH loopwheel have seems on xxl, so I might have to invest in heavier weight TFH

I can only speak in my Merz stuff from self Edge which is their heavyweight stuff and its ultra luxurious to say the least.

Posted this above, will post it again..
It's important to remember that with Merz there are multiple weights of the same shirts/sweaters. They produce everything from lightweight tees/sweaters to heavier versions. You can normally tell what you're buying by the price because many retailers don't realize this and just order the cheaper tees for their store and when putting up the product page don't state which version it is.You purchased the thin (and cheaper) tees. At Self Edge we only carry the heavier weight t-shirts, and they're amazing in quality. They make the thin ones as some people do prefer a thinner t-shirt, but generally don't people are not our customers.

@Dion and @Appfaff @kiya I think you are right, the 2 thread do seem much more accommodating for a chap of my proportions. I'm going to invest in a 2 thread classic tee. Wish I'd have considered this as they aren't that much more expensive. I've washed and dried my 1 thread and that has made a positive difference. They fit and hang better, and the cut is good.

Got me a knitted sweater for work

I like this merino wool tee a lot. Super comfortable fit. Super interesting feel of the tee. It's kind of slightly itchy but I imagine this will go away after a few wears. -

The denim icon himself wore his everyday for 2 years. When Kiya says something is nice I tend to believe him. This shirt is really awesome. -

@Filthy how does the striped tee fit? I’ve been eyeing it for a long time.
-
@Palmer super soft and dense. It's very nice. The best thing about the shirts are the fit and the larger neck… Like easily $120 nice. @popvulture has one too.

I have a few of their henleys and an army green t shirt from them that I love. I enjoy how the inside of the shirts feels extremely soft.
