@Dirty:
Thanks Mike…I will be much more proud when these are done naturally...Next i need a IH pair to do the same with. Maybe the 555's or a pair of ducks
You won't regret it, man. The 'natural' evolution route is slow and sometimes frustrating, but the end result makes it so rewarding. As you said, you will be proud - damn proud!
Keep it up mate!
-
Flash you're going to love the fit of those!
-
My S5000VX 24 oz. shrunk an inch in the waist, that was after the second wash. I got a 34 and they're a 33
now. Looking forward to the fit pics Flash. -
LOve the Samurai pocket bags…Nobody gets to see them but i know they are there
-
Agreed Sal!
-
Lookin forward to the measurements after 2nd soak…Can u measure the inseam ?
-
OK TY…I am soaking mine now..I hope they dont shrink much :-\ :-\
-
Looking forward to your fit Flash!
So your size 29 measured 30" raw instead of 31"? Well then it's the usual difference I always encounter on BiG's measurements. They always seem to indicate the waist 1" bigger than it really is…maybe they pull the hell out of the waistband while measuring..I dunno. -
Right on Flash, that fit is great, my fave by far.
-
Do they measure across the back and times by 2 or do they measure with the waist pulled even?
they measure this way:
http://blueingreensoho.com/site/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=30&Itemid=which is also known as the "BiG-Method". the way 90% of usmeasure their jeans, me included. at least everyone asks for BiG-style measurements when you sell your jeans.
-
I know.
But for the waistband measurement (the topic of this discussion) I get the same measurements using BiG-style or from The Works.
If you use the DC4-method, that measurement is very inaccurate though (measuring without an aligned waistband)
