Mega, where do you get your Sammies online?
-
I've always bought my Sammies from 2nd, not shopped there for a number of years but their service is still great if you don't mind translating every email into simplified Japanese.
-
Plus, depending on your size, they always seem to have a few hidden gems of older stuff in stock.

Also highly recommendable is kaizoku pirates. Saves you the translator (although it can be funny. But not, if you ask them to hem your jeans, have them told in 5 different ways what length you need and they still dont get it.)

Super. Thanks fellas

Thanks for the testimonials gents. Am curious to try ordering from Japan, import duties aside. Will have to see what the taxman says about that of course.

Pre soak fit and relaxing in the tub after soak, they were pretty tight already so I could be in for a painful week.
First impression of the Samurai 25oz is that (pre soak at least) it doesn't feel as hefty as the IH 25oz but much stiffer, probably the starch.
I know that some found the IH 25oz a struggle, I never did, but the Samurai might be a problem due to the stiffness making them abrasive against the skin.

Pre-soak fit in the top block looks great! Hope you can stretch them out again. HWDC2 member mange also had a pretty tight fit with his S5000VX25oz.
And like I said, the Samurai feels lighter. (edit: at least I think I said that…)

Yep pre soak looks good.

Iron and stone challenge part 2 Gav!

Not yet dude. Post soak….

Now fight those jeans and win

Thanks guys, I reached the conclusion that the S5000 is "my Sammy cut".

Fit looks spot on. Congrats Gav. They look like great jawns
