My first Samurais arrived. Awesome Quality! I love the grainy and slubby fabric.




Worn for 3 days. They are fading quickly..

Hi everyone.
My 710's are 4 months but still really tight in waist. I gave them one initial cold soak, but I am afraid of soaking them again, If they will shrink even more so I wont be able to fit them anymore.
My question: Do you think there will be anomore stretch in the top block If I keep wearing them?
If not I must get a new pair and size up.

Cool - thought so - bad luck
If I should keep them. How would you threat them from now on? A machine wash is not an option because they will shrink too much - Is a cold hand wash an obtion, or should they be washed in a machine?

They will stretch back quickly to this fit again. Even after a soak.

@Jens not sure if you are doing this already, but if it is too tight in the waist you can try not buttoning the top button and keeping the pants up with a belt

Thank you all for the advice.
They are 710xx 24/27 oz tag 34 - waist 34,25 and an initial cold soak (20 min.) and 4 months of wear.
If I should size up, what would you recommend, tag 35 - waist 35 (and soaking) or tag 36 - waist 36 (and washing)?

Jens. If my pants are too tight in the waist for whatever reason, I cut off the top button and attach the new one like 0,75-1 inch to the left. This should give you a little bit of needed space.

Has anyone on here have any info on asj711vx? Been looking online, but don't see very much info on the denim used to make these. Any info is much appreciated.

Fades should be the same as the on the S0500XX or S0510XX. All have the 15oz Texas Cotton denim.
The fit is interesting though

Has anyone seen the 18 anniversary 5000MOG 18oz in the flesh? Looks like an interesting denim, not sure about the gold buttons though..
