wtf, a class till 10pm? is that common in the us?
Yes it is pretty common especially at Community/ City Colleges.

Lando, play nice

I actually don't have a problem with TR or Sevens. Different strokes for different folks
I had a thread going about pocketknives, to which Seul mentioned Protech and Lando mentioned SOG.
I have not carried a production knife in over five years. I really prefer the handmade feel of a custom. On many forums, knife enthusiasts will flame others for carrying production knives, no matter the quality.
As for ridculous branding, SOG is regarded as a joke naming their knife SEAL Pup, with no real connection with the Navy. Its all just marketing
Despite that, I know that SOG and Protech makes a pretty good knife, so I didn't knock anyones gear even though I carry a Chris Reeve knife every day, which is pretty universally regarded as the gold standard of knives.
My point is this, use and wear whatever works for you. Because something you consider a great piece of kit is another snobs garbage
Just my two yen

ProTech makes a good knife my arse… Had 2 Runts and a Stinger so far, all 3 of which the spring snapped within a year... Right now, my stinger's done for. Havign to send it to Germany to fix it. I bought it in May.
I only keep buying it cause I don't know of a better alternative that makes autos this small...

How's it going everyone?
Well, my name is adalberto (my forum name is deadendpro) and i find myself here because i have just fallen head over heels in love with iron heart.
I am from Oakland Ca and i have been fully into our little niche culture for a bit over 3 years. It started in 2005 when i got myself a pair of Evisu's from a place called Shinzo in paris and as time went on i ventured into nudies and imperials. Halfway through my Duke project, i ordered a pair of Sams from BiG and i saw the vast difference between The elite in Japan and those whom were on the roster but not the star players (well, at least was my experience) anyways, i loved the sams and the way they wore in so i've been doing the japanese denim thing ever since. I am currently rotating a pair of Denime 66xx's as i am part of the denime x take 5 contest and very very recently i recieved a nice little gift by my moms for my 21st b-day, S2004-LTD's. She ordered from giles and i've been having a blast wearing them in rotation with my denimes. Aside from those two pairs, i am beating the hell out of my Dry Bones Type 3 jacket. And speaking of jackets, let me tell you all what has gotten me to be part of this excellent forum…
Recently, well, a little while back (years), i had purchased a penfield down jacket and had worn it on those brisk bay area days with pleasure. The jacket was everything i needed it to be and then some. But on a cool afternoon i was helping my uncle with his car and my jacket got caught, tearing the torso and releasing the goods all over the place. i tossed the jacket and had been looking for another ever since. Very recently i had been lurking sufu and saw that self edge was having a big sale on older merchandise, and wouldnt you know it, there was a down jacket there left in my size in navy. I didnt think, i just bought. This was this past thursday, and i had been thinking about if i had gotten the right size since then, however the jacket came in today and not only was it the right size, it was magnificent!
i've read through the iron heart forum on sufu and saw people like PeteRock1 who had amassed an awesome collection of anything and everything iron heart and felt that it was that kind of brand loyalty that helped sell me on a jacket i had never tried on. I mean, if a guy spend dollars for days on entire linesheets, damn near, then they must be doing something right. So i decided to see what it was all about and got my down jacket. It was the best purchase of the past year(12 months). I cant wait to wear it hard. Big ups to Iron Heart for a great piece of clothing, big ups to Self Edge and Kiya and thanks to whoever is reading still; i hope i didnt bore you or waste your time. Glad to be here.
