Introduce Yourself Here

@Denman-John Welcome John, it's a pleasure to read about your adventure... if it's any consolation, I live in Italy and here too, IH articles are little known and difficult to see and find except online... never mind, it will mean that we will be the ones to make them known . Nice to meet you, I'm Luigi

Hi, my name's Otus. I live in Tallahassee, Florida. I'll be honest: I despise normal jeans, like Levi's and stuff like that. I think they're boring and basic looking, stopped wearing them ages ago, as soon as I started halfway caring about style. "Denimhead jeans" on the other hand (when properly cared for and legitimately faded) are worlds apart aesthetically, and especially if you find a style (or brand) that uniquely fits with the visual look or "vibe" you prefer to have. To me, normal modern denim and serious denim like Ironheart makes should not both be called jeans, one of them needs a different word, cause it's just not the same thing. I'm actually pretty new to the denimhead hobby, but have been ravenously educating myself online for the past couple months about it.

Hi I'm Steve, from the South Coast of England (near Brighton just over an hour from IHUK HQ), now living in Queensland, Australia. Picked up my first IH jeans last year when I visited Rivet & Hide, then a few weeks later went to Gosport just to get my jeans hemmed and my lovely wife picked out a jacket & shirt whilst we were there. It's been downhill for my wallet ever since.

Hi everyone ! I'm Quentin from Belgium. My friends use to call me Mister big Q or Quentinium. Living in a small town 20 minutes drive from Brussels. Bought my first shirt last week, really love the fabric of that 14 double cloth. Tighter than what I was thinking but still wearable. Did order a 888-XHSib that I should receive tomorrow. Did use a lot the forum to look for advice and my friend @Heavy_blue told me that I should interact on the forum as well

@Quentinium welcome dude!! Happy to see you around

Hi everyone. Jeff here. Been lurking on the forum for a while and thought I’d introduce myself. I live in Minnesota in the USA. The cold weather and long winters here lends itself well to Iron Heart clothing. I enjoy reading everyone’s post, seeing how you all style your garments, and watching your threads (and mine) evolve over time. I work in higher education, am a big fan of rock music, travel, and mountain biking. Looking forward to interacting with the board a bit more and getting to know the group. Cheers!

@Mizmazzle genuine question, is 'lower education' the actual term used to describe the demographic that you teach?
-
@T4920 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secondary_education I guess that is referring to the age group he's teaching.
