This was my first time using pepper jelly so I just assumed that I should use it the same as I would a fruit jelly. I am not sure how many of the world’s hottest peppers I just ate, but it was good… The sweetness of the jelly really brought out the floral flavor of the Trinidad scorpions which gave it a lovely fruity flavor. As for the Ghost, I always like the heat of the ghost, but never cared too much for the flavor which never quite measured up to the scorpion, but paired with the much hotter/more fragrant scorpion pepper it was perfect. Overall I would say it was the best PB&J I’ve ever had.
