Iron Heart Classics/ Essentials
-
I mentioned this a few weeks ago, and it's something that always intrigues me. I know everyone has differing views, and I know that each and every item produced by IH is great, but what are the classics in your opinion? What are the essential items that people should be on the look out for from our favourite brand?
For me, it goes a little something like this….
IH-634S, have to start with THE classic jeans.
IHxB01, any variation of the Busters cut is great, for that slightly slimmed down look. Size up one for an awesome "anti-fit" look too.
IH-666S, modern slim cut in that beautiful, high contrast 18oz denim. Particularly for the young bucks, this is an essential.
IHSH-20, the top dog fo the heavy flannels, for those of us who do not own one we hope the 72 will carry on the legacy.
IHW-01, shirt or jacket? Shacket? Shaggit? Versatile, warm, dress up or dress down, essential winter wear.
IHSH-37, I know the 70 has just landed, but it was owning this bad boy that stopped my purchase. Still the best herringbone flannel in my opinion.
IHSH-33, close between this and the 27, but those black snaps
IHSH-21, the classic chambray workshirt, and riding high on my list of "must have" purchases.
IH-526J, if you're in the market for a heavy type III, then this is the one.
IH-9527J, I chose Super Black, others may have a different opinion. When I think "Motorcycle Specialities", I think of this jacket.
IH-9526V, SB vest that screams "bad ass", I never saw the point in vests (I come from middle England), but this was a mind changer for me. I now wear it with everything. Every other purchase I make comes with the question "would that look ok with the vest?".
Come on guys, looking forward to hearing about your classics/ essentials, or even thoughts on my list or anyone else's list. It's all about opinions
I will add some pics late, gotta go to work now

IHSH-33, close between this and the
3727, but those black snapsfixed…
bottoms
- IH-634s or any of the different types of 634s´s is in some way necessary in every closet where you looking to find IH.
flannels
- imo the "most wanted" one around is the IHSH-20, so that´s on top of the list. let´s see if the reincarnated version of it, the IHSH-72, can fill that gap!
denim shirts
- imo it´s the IHSH-27 or the IHSH-33…one of these you just have to own, when owning a denim shirt.
chambrays
- without a doubt, the IHSH-21 is the way to go and the one to own!…
overshirts
- for those that are into overshirts i´d say that the IHD-01 /-01od and the IHW-01 are a "must have" item in that categorie.
jackets/vests
- o/course the IH-526J when it comes to denim.
- the IH-9527J when it comes to the term "motorcycle specialities" and the need to want some superblack.
- the IH-2526J when it comes to duck and wearing an awesome type III.
- the IH-9526V also in superblack…can be worn and combined with just everything.
cut&sewn
- without a doubt…the IH-Geo in duck or indigo!
- the new IHT-GT, the IHxGosport shirt is also a "must have" in my book!
might be that i´ll add a few more later on, but these are the ones that came to my mind atm!

Now with (some) added crappy pictures

I just weirdly love my IHSH-64 it's getting cold here, and I feel like I'm in a shirt made of magic material. It's like dad's 25 year old heavy ass sweat shirt had a baby with one of granny's old quilts and the kid grew up to be a cowboy…that loves metal. I don't know how I ever lived without this shirt.

Dad and Granny got it on? JSJ gets weird.

Other granny…dude!!!
-
Oh yeah, that makes it sooooo much less weird…
-
IH 461, best bootcut ever….totally underestimated
Co-sign! not over flared and great fit through and through.
-
honestly, got to have at least one thing made with the 21oz denim.
