Running Paris Marathon on 2 April going for 3:15

60 miles a week is extremely good going! I didnt even get there training for the London marathon last year. Granted I did not train hard enough and didnt cover myself in glory - injuries and illness hampered training massively. Sounds as though you are putting in the work and here's hoping for an injury free rest of training!

Those are some seriously impressive finish times you guys are aiming for. I’m currently ramping up my miles for Brighton marathon, also on the 2nd April. My training is going okay, but between work and 3 kids I’m finding it hard to get out more than 4 days a week.
I’m aiming for a sub-4 hour. Will be ecstatic if I can do it 3:45. Managed a 1:40 half marathon a couple weeks ago, and my pace at longer distances (currently up to 19 miles) is pretty consistent.
Wishing everyone a fun, injury free couple of months!

Thanks guys always nice to run in great conditions.
@Dmart sounds like you're well on track to hit your sub 1:30 goal if you're running long runs that fast already. You feeling positive? -
Cool. Finishing long runs at race pace is a great thing to do if it doesn't cause injury.
What's your fuelling strategy? I've had to practice these things quite a bit for 100k and half ironman, and will need to devise a whole new strategy for the full ironman I'll do in 30 degree heat this summer. -
Just finished my first Marathon yesterday with a time of 4:10. I was expecting to finish around 4:30 and surprised myself. its been about a year since i got into running and super excited to sign up for more races

Great, beating your goal by 20 mins is huge. You going to stick with marathon distance?

Definitely. I'll probably do a couple halves throughout the year as well. I moved to an area that's very outdoorsy which has made getting outside easier. This has just been so fun to see tangible improvement.
