IHW-01 (Melton Wool shirt)
-
Looking great Eli, I kinda wish I'd gone down a size but I usually wear mine as a jacket.
-
mega, you don't want to size down. please don't size down
if you are unhappy with the way your heavy flannel (32 i think) fits you would not be happy with the way this would fit sized down. i tried an xl & i could wear it alone but the forearms were tight as frog booty when i tried to wear it layered. true story
sorry spelled booty wrong typing all fast

It's the shoulders and upper arms that are a bit loose for me, but I think maybe I just need to give it more wear and soften it up a little.
-
Tomorrow I'm posting pics of me wearing this as a jacket (over the best shirt in the world, the 43). It's only gonna be -2 C° so should be good
And thank you, lads, for the kind words.
Looking forward to this. I tried layering mine with the 37 and they were kinda tight in the arm and wrist area. Keep in mind I sized up on my usual shirt size for the IHW-01.

i usually have to undo the button on the wrist to fit a shirt under otherwise it's just too much & it squeezes my wrist to death.

i'm talking about both

I pretty much have to do this same thing in a t shirt as well.
-
& that's why i returned the XL cause it just didn't feel right.
so you like it with the wrists undone? if i recall your old flicks it was a good look.
-
Either the cut inconsistent or Seul has thin arms…
The material is a tad thicker than the first incarnation which may make each size slightly tighter fitting. G mentioned it some time back after asking Haraki-San.

Yea, I like it quite a lot actually. There are two buttons, and I usually undo the lowest button and leave the higher button in place, see pick below. It gives me a little more mobility for driving and wearing a watch. I am 100% sure there is no way I can fit a watch under it without undoing the button, so it pretty much limits my options. Also, the sleeve length approaches the wider part of my wrist, so it would just start bunching up if I didn't undo the button. Honestly, after looking at the picture more, I think I like the look of the button undone more than done anyway.

I'll try and get some more pics this week to show it a little better.
