My red wing iron rangers. Still going hard after two years regular use. Seen many a drunken jaunt including a recent trip to Camden that saw them get repeatedly covered in rum and Jaegermeister!!!!!!

Question for owners of several pairs of redwing.. I'm looking at buying some moc toe boots online, do they run the same sizing as iron rangers. I'm a 43D in the iron rangers and they are perfect fit, and these are down a size as generally recommended. So would I be the same in a pair of 875's?

Thanks Rocket, that's what I was hoping for.. Cheers.

Just picked up these Red Wing style# 8199. Haven't seen much mention of them, so I thought I'd snap a few pics. The leather, which RW calls "Hawthorne Driftwood" is pretty interesting. It's the most "raw" looking leather I've seen from them and this is the only boot I've seen use it. It comes lighter out of the box – these pics are after a coating of Obenauf's LP and I added some new waxed cotton laces. They should develop a nice patina. Here are pics:

Those might be about ready for a resole. Look comfy.

yeah they might be, but i'm actually weird about them & want to leave them a little while longer. they have helped me paint, move & mow my lawn for the past few years so they actually get worked in which is rare for me & my boots. think a resole might make them less comfy . . . yes makes no sense but true
