Watches - another OCD problem

Way to go @Black Orchid you scored big there! Nice watch on the receiving end @den1mhead. Your wife is the best (and very nice of you to give your OG to her to, you're the best!)

there'll probably a few but i'd doubt it'll catch on. well at least not around this forum.

Rolex have just upped their warranty to five years, and the service interval to ten years on their new watches.

The Only Watch auction is coming up in November. It's a biennial charity event for which manufacturers donate unique timepieces.
Since there are a lot of Tudor fans, the Heritage Black Bay One is the obvious starting point. It's based on a fifties design, but with a modern movement. Not, alas, their new in-house calibre.
The star of the show is likely to be the Patek Phillipe 5016A. It's one of the most complicated movements that they've ever produced, and the selling point is that it's a steel case. In the last auction the Patek sold for $4 million, and was worth as much as every other lot combined!
Personally I prefer the FP Journe piece, which I think is completely gorgeous.
But if you want a more badass Tourbillion, Bell & Ross have donated one. It's a bronze case, so should patinate nicely. (Isn't @Winchy road-testing a similarly cased watch at the moment?)
The one that I'm love with is the Hermes In The Pocket. There was a short run of these made a year or two ago with a palladium case. They're not as interesting mechanically as the Patek and Journe, but I think it's a lovely timepiece.

i saw that a few days ago. some pretty cool watches on there. that patek and fp journe are a couple of my favourites.

Strictly speaking, it's not a GMT watch, but I rather like the Jaeger LeCoutre Reverso Duoface. I don't know if it would match your style @Snowy, but it's sufficiently different from the IWC to give you another look.
Oh, it's got a watch face on each side of the case, not a pair of cases as shown in the photo.
