Here's a teaser pic… At the hospital right now and getting weird looks for taking pictures of my boots. As for the whites/ viberg comparison I can not say as I don't own a pair of whites yet (not sure i will either as vibergs tend to make more appealing silhouettes to me and their customer service, especially Morgan, have treated me like a lifelong friend since beginning my second project.
In regards to Alden... I know some will argue that they are two different things but.... ALDEN advertises the indy 403 and 405 models as a "workboot" and in comparison to viberg... There is no comparison and the price point differential is easily justified. They are not 30% better... They are in a completely different league.

^NICE! Can't wait to see mine!

As expected I missed delivery. I called UPS and asked to pickup from the depot. They don't do same day depot service meaning it'll be Monday Night. As usual, I decided to head down and try my luck. UPS closes @ 7pm. I live ~40minute cycle from the city, and ~15 minutes drive from UPS. I left work @ 550pm. Walked in the door @ 630, by the time I'd changed out of cycling shoes, it was 640pm. My car's gas light was on when I jumped in saying I was on my last 50KMs. Being a diesel, when it gets that low, it's touch and go. Boots are worth it. Traffic. Found the depot, and of course had to navigate the massive lot. There were no parking spots free near the walk up counter. 652pm. Double parked a guy in, got told off by UPS, but as long as I left at 7pm it was okay. Made into the walkup counter 655pm. Dude's alarm was going off to close up shop. He looks at the number and sees I only requested it to be held this afternoon. As such I'd broken protocol. Annoyingly he walks out the back, 10 minutes later (705pm) he's back with the blue package. I nearly jumped the very high counter to give him a high 5. On the way back I got gas, and have just had some food and will soon be opening these bad boys! EPIC finish to a working week!

^soon as I can see properly and my body's re-balanced I'll open the precious. I may not be able to walk tomorrow due to red-lining my body to get home in time, but yeah.
BANGLU-1 has become a life motto in a way. I feel/see it and think, 'stubborn crew', 'we don't do light', 'genuine quality', and end up doing The Right Thing, or going harder than otherwise. Some have WWJD, I have BANGLU-1
