Thanks guys - day went well and babies didn't even cry once lol - epic win in our book haha
Max, yes I threw them in the machine dryer as well- very glad I did or Wales they would have been a bit long/baggy still. I have slowly moved towards this "easy care, easy wear" strategy and it works very well (most of he time haha)

Question: could these be hemmed with a cuff. Like slacks To "dress" them up a bit?
Dont yet know if I can wear em to the new job but denim "of any kind" is OUT. Bummer.

Btw. Those look spot on appfaff.
-
@mikebarhoot - I had @Winchy put a chino hem on them. I have seen people do a "slacks" hem on them and they do look good, but might take some time to settle as the fabric is quite heavy for chinos. The fist thing I thought of when I opened them was the fabric reminded me of Bill's Khakis heavy twill. I had those "slacks" hemmed with an outer cuff and they were the same way - took a bit of time and a few irons to get them to settle, but they always looked nice. The color is much less "dickies" looking in person and the sheen washed away pretty much with the wash. Probably my favorite chinos I have ever day. Wish I could get them in like 5 colors lol

I wore mine to the office for the first time yesterday. Great pants! The colour is awesome, the whole construction and fabric feel super nice and they might even work well in summer as the fabric feels pretty light (compared to the 816 DD at least). I had a local tailor hem them, worked out well. They just recreated the original hem.
Anyway, it felt weird to wear such light coloured pants - I didn't do that since I worked in eldercare 13 years ago. So I assume the are really dressy and suitable for the office.

They definitely work well in the summer. I live in Phoenix and I wore mine regularly last summer.

Kinda wanna try to the next size down and cold wash hang dry instead of shrinking these 38s like I did. The fit great out of the dryer, but 30 minutes later I'm pulling them up for the rest of the day haha

That's a good call, that's why I buy small and stretch to fit:)
-
Wearing mine today…so far I didn't get much stretch although I'd need it. I hope I can get about 0,5-1" with constant wear.
-
What @den213 said - the material stretches a lot too, so whatever the raw measurements are, they will quickly go back.
