not sure G, let's see how this does abroad as well as in Japan & then we decide?
hahahahahaha
Clint_D just looked you up (i'm weird i tend to look up forum members when they say something interesting . . . so i can figure out if it's just a fluke or if they are really brilliant :-[) & have to say publicly thanks for having a good memory. if you know you know

I'm def happy with the lightweight stuff being extant, feel like that stuff gets left behind sometimes
this!…at this time i'm really un-happy that the IHSH-46 for example were endangered. really would love to be able to cop a few of those lightweight shirts when the time is right (so like now!)...or maybe just put them on extant as long as the season goes!?
some shirts just need their time to become a great seller I think, so if they'd be around a bit longer you'd def. sell more of'em, even if they went pretty slow at the beginning!... -
Have you taken a look at the mock-twist chambrays in the Western cut? I have the 66 and very much recommend it for warmer weather.
-
question before i give my (serious) thought, was the fabric & hardware made just for this shirt?

o/course I have mate, but I also think about the western versions to use as future "workshirts" in the office and a button down is imo way more "office approved" as the same fabric but with snap buttons…

Nope. Fabric is "Haraki Select" that is fabric that is not designed by the crew, but is available in the market. He has to do this with certain fabrics because the minimum quantities are so huge. And we have used t he black cats eyes on other stuff (IHSH-53 springs to mind, as that is what I am wearing atm)…

Fair enough, that makes sense (you mean workshirts for the office and not westerns I think?). Kinda crazy how there are still a bunch of 66s available in the larger sizes but maybe green isn't so popular.
-
hmmm, will think about it a little more before giving my limited take.
f^ck it why think . . . historically these sorts of items have the slow & steady thing going for them. with IH expanding as it is it would be great to have a staple workshirt (sort of the way the 07 & 33 comes back every couple of months for the western set), but i can't really call it until i test drive the shirt.
