John Lofgren (Speedway)

John sent me this video of an Aussie unpacking a pair of Lofgren engineers…
I'd say the reviewer is containing himself admirably.
-
That's my friend Warren. He's a very nice fellow and has a great education when it comes to vintage engineer boots
-
Ha, indeed he is snowman
-
Oooh… Auck-ward... Reminds me of the time I accused a South African of being an Australian...
-
That's an understatement, Rafa, it's the best looking engineer on the market imo…

how to size those beauties?
-
Finn, John (shopatspeedway@NOSPAM.hotmail.com) is a pleasure to deal with and will answer sizing questions. The gist of it is these seem straight up US sized.
-
I concur… The badalassi is amazing and really wanting that boot but anybofvtgevinfirnatin are just flat beautiful
-
Welp, I decided to go for the Lofgrens in black… only one pair in (what I hope is) my size left, I figured I better get them while I can. Now comes the misery of waiting.
-
Did you go tts?
-
True to my US sizing–thoughts?
-
Nice man! I'm super jealous
-
I'm inclined to go that route as well, only one way to find out I guess…
-
That was John's advice–email him he will measure the sole length and ball width

FH and Rafa and anyone else needing sizing info:
Man, I totally spaced this until Tat asked me a question and I re-read an email from John, but in regards to sizing he said that you can basically follow a Brannock device in US sizes on these boots.
Still, email him and ask if you want to make sure, as mentioned he provided outsole length and width at the ball of the foot too.

Wow, I forsee much boot porn when they arrive :). I'd suggest creating a dedicated thread for them so we can all admire their beauty. May they ship swiftly and fit perfectly :).

That's weird, I remember thinking that Vintage Engineer Boots sized down on his. Hmmm…
