John Lofgren (Speedway)

@FurattoHeddo 70's I wear an 11.5, I took an 11 in these.
Haven't gotten to wear the Dessau much yet but they feel similar size-wise, maybe a little more room in the toe?
Which would be a good thing, since the 70's have always felt a teeny bit narrow. -
These get better every time I wear them (which is quite often). I really need to pick up a white pair.

I think the camos look good with both khakis and denim.

How do you guys size on his engineers? Im 11 in viberg 2030(just fits) and 2045(lil big). Wear an 11.5 in cons CTAS. Would an 11 in JL engineers fit?
-
Love those @davito
I am seriously debating picking them up.

Thx brotha Def go for them if u like em @dudewuttheheck

My Lofgren cognac Badalassi engineers after 6 weeks of wear, i can't believe how quickly these evolved. Also the most comfortable boot i've worn in years.

So I picked up the new Sugar Cane Champs and I was immediately hit with the strong smell of rubber upon opening the box. They also seem heavier than the camo's I picked up a couple of years ago.
I really like John's sneakers. They're robust and extremely comfortable. Can anyone comment on his Donkey Puncher boots?
Plenty more miles left to go in these…

@QuantumMechanic can you comment on the width and how they fit? Are they really a half size bigger?

Hey @Filthy25ozJunkie, I normally wear an 8 in just about everything, despite measuring a 7D on a Brannock device. So yeah they are definitely a half size bigger. As for width they seem like you'd be able to get away with an E. Both my Lofgren's are a size 8, and if I'd have my way I would wear these in a 7.5. However, they do ship with an extra insole and that makes them fit spot on whilst making them extra comfy at the same time. The heft of these is pretty incredible.That said, I was never really a sneaker person, and always found Chuck Taylor's particularly uncomfortable and flimsy which these are not. I bought the camo on a whim, well because it's camo and I now love my Lofgren sneakers.
FWIW I also came across these similar if not identical shoes from TPSTR that look equally as good, but I can't say for sure on either the build quality or the fit…

Hope that helps!
