Well…....? Whats it got4 cylinder pinto… with a cam
hahaha
but it's mated to a c4 auto trans
so a sbf should be a fairly easy swap (but painful for a chevy/mopar guy) -
@natehate That car is something else…love it

Need something more reliable than the Citroen?
-
that's the 2015 tt right? do you have pictures of the dashboard. i've seen someone drive it and the dash looks beautiful, with the maps integrated and everything digital.
-
Yeah, she was sooo pissed about the Citroën the other day (hydraulic liquid leaking), that she drove it back to the workshop and asked them to sell it.
I convinced her to rent a brand new TT (produced late last year, registered this April) for this trip in order for her to make up her mind if she really wants one as her "real" car…
I fear she wants the TTS instead! Will take some detail pictures over the next few days...
-
the dial is absolutely beautiful. well the tt has been redesigned recently iirc. still holds the same shape but with a much better driving aesthetics. not a car i'd like but a nice car nonetheless. thanks for the photos. absolutely love that dash..
love the TTS @FOXY …in about 1.5years from now, when i'm able to drive again, i'm gonna get me a nice clean ride with a nice sound and enough hp!
i thought you could.. and didnt you get the e90 320d the other time?

@louisbosco I took a look at a TT in the local Audi dealer, and snapped a few shots of the dash for you.
I think that it's a cool development, but it already feels dated compared to my (Android) phone.
But the most interesting car in the showroom was the Auto Union Type C.
-
hey cheers @Graeme . getting one yourself? the tt dash is beautiful. unfortunately, the tt is not my style of car i'd like.
-
I'm not planning on getting one @louisbosco. If I was getting a car in that sort of price bracket then I'd probably go for a BMW i3 with the range extender, or the Audi S1.
However, I'd be more likely to blow the money on a Ninja H2, as demonstrated here by Peter Griffin!
And a more sensible bike or cheap car.
-
hmm i cringe at the thought of electric vehicles. something i just can't accept.
though not to shit up the car thread with bikes, i'd probably pick a hayabusa over the h2.
