IHVB-04-b-o-t - Iron Heart/Viberg 1950's Service Boot in Brown Oil Tan
-
congrats georgeel!! you gonna love the boot.
fwiw the 1950 tends to run about a half size bigger due the the last used and shape. I am normally a 9uk in vibergs and 10us in wescos but for my 1950 viberg service, I can fit a 8uk comfortably. But if wearing a thick wool socks then it'll be a bit on the tight side but not so tight that i cannot wear them.
Hopefully it'll work fine for you and if doesn't you can always exchange them.

you guys are pretty fucking killing me…giorgio you've edited your post while i was writing my answer!
first you said you're a UK7.5/US8.5 in red wing, so that's why i've recommended the UK8.5 in viberg! -.-now that you're a size UK7 in rw, the UK8 in vibergs should fit you nicely...

Anyone experienced some breaking-in problems with these? I guess today I had me first one. Took these for a long walk and the experience was not good. It´s not a size problem, this is ok, but still my right foot hurts like hell in the heel counter, blister included.
Maybe it´s the stiffness of the heelcounter or the height of the heel..dunno. Crap though… -
Maybe it´s my weird right foot.My right heel rubs the lower part of the counter more than my left foot, judging by the wearing spot on the inside of the shoe. The stiffness of the material is not forgiving.I hope this goes away with more wear. Maybe I can solve this with thicker socks for long walks,..

It took me about two months for my Vibergs to adjust to my feet (and only had an issue with the right foot as well)… So hang in there...
Two months eh .. After a one day rest, I´m wearing them again for three days in a row now. I will win this fight for sure…they remain one of my favorite boots.
