Cowboy boots

Thanks Mike! Im pretty curious how their quality stacks up. Most pieces i see run about a grand, really like the stitching on this one.

I don't have any personal experience with them, but J.B. Hill makes nice boots. They've been in business in El Paso for 15-20 years now. I think you'd be getting well made boots. I'm intrigued by the cordovan option, which is rare in cowboy boots.

Luchesse -
Picked these up from the lucchese store in nashville when i was there on business last month. First pair of westerns!

snazzy!

Had to take my Luchesse's in for repair. Ungh!!! 6-10 weeks.

I have several pairs made by Dave Little in San Antonio
http://www.littlesboots.com/our-boots
1 magnificent pair made by Lee Miller from Texas Tradition in Austin. so beautiful I am leery of wearing them!
they dont have a website but if you google them, you will see what they make.
I also have a couple pairs from Heritage in Austin
http://heritageboot.com/style/heritage-men/
Heritage makes ready to wear while Lee and Dave make bespoke boots. Lee takes more than a year to deliver, while Dave takes about 3-4 months.
Believe me, the wait is well worth it. So if you happen to be in San Antonio or Austin, do take the time to visit their stores and prepared to be totally amazed and forget about Lucchese.

Now that you live in San Antonio, Mike, you really should make a trip to Little's Boot Company. They have a really impressive showroom filled with custom pairs they've done over the years. It's kinda overwhelming, actually.

Now that i know about them. Will do!

And i'm commuting. Lol. In a non lol way.
Room should be ready next week

Took in my Dad's elephant boots (that he lets me wear) to the local repair shop and they'll be finished in 8 days. Couldn't imagine waiting 6-10 weeks!

My Justin AQHA (American Quarter Horse Association) square toes. Got them at the Justin Store in Fort Worth - definitely a cool boot "dungeon" if you ever find yourself there. Had them since 2010, but they haven't seen a ton of use ever since I left the office life. Great boots and vey comfy. Square toes might be a "fashionable" boot, but man are they easy to wear.
