IHG-02 - Medium Cordovan Wallet - Black, Ox Blood & Natural
-
@ARNC I was thinking this might be the case actually...I'll try brushing when/if it returns.
@Daniel-San I'll try this too thanks for the idea and yes it's only on the calf inside leather. The shell is not showing anything but normal wear and tear.

I’m pumped for this natural wallet. Looks so nice. Just have to find the $ now! May have to get rid of the Wild Child one.
-
Any examples of what worn in natural will look like?
Also - You guys should offer some nice quality leather tethers for these (with clasps at both ends). The bass chains are cool and all, but sometimes they’re just a bit too much, and they also bounce around too much if you’re walking around all day.

Going to look exactly like this, just longer
We used to do wallet leashes, unfortunately the factory that made them for us closed, and we couldnt find another one at the time. I'll add it to my mental list of things I try to make happen again and again, though. It's definitely a good suggestion

@Alex Thx! I’d love to buy a couple of the medium cordovan wallets with matching tethers.

@Oaktavia wicked

@Graham love that wallet. That natural one is on my list. Looks so good.

Absolutely love this wallet and look forward to the evo in the not-so-distant future. I love the colors throughout it, the subtle richness is a joy to gaze upon. I just need to find a new leather wallet cord. Anyone know of there is a maker or retailer out there that makes shell cordovan wallet cords?

@Oaktavia hello my friend, usually they don't use Shell Cordovan leather for the lanyards (it's a very expensive part of the horse both if tanned by Horween and Shinky Hikaku). A much cheaper and more flexible vegetable tanned cowhide is used. But some time ago I discovered a Swedish craftsman, Lone Wolf, who uses Shell Cordovan for his wallets, maybe you can ask him if he can also use it for some lanyards, I'll let you know as soon as he replies if it's ok for you.
