Hey Scotty. Sorry for the delayed response. This is a 40 I'm pretty sure I'd run a 42 next time. For a more relaxed fit. I don't have an IH shirt yet.

Cool josh thanks mate. I actually ended up getting the 44 because of the measurements. Turned out a local shop in the city stocked them and I tried on the 42 and it was perfect. So I washed and machine dried them to shirk em a tad. They are comfortable now but in hindsight the 42 would have been better with proper care washing.

So I see that Momotaro is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a few special edition models. Anyone pick up a pair?

I’m not really a fan of Momotaro’s jeans but I have taken a shine to their military style shirts in recent years. I’m tempted by this selvedge chino shirt [emoji851]

Sorry to wake a sleepy thread but I just picked up the Momo heavy green Kersey shirt from Rivet & Hide, and it's absolutely amazing. Can't recommend it enough:

I feel that on some deep conceptual level there is enormous difference between Iron Heart and Momotaro. The number of posts and their cadence in this thread underscores that both crowds do not hang much together. But since my denim story started with Momotaro (forgive me fellow IH lovers, this pink stitching is so cool and contemporary!) I feel that their latest move to make the Gold Label available outside Japan is significant enough to mention regardless of what may be the opinion about Hisao Manabe thig vs Shinichi Haraki thing

https://momotaro-jeans.com/goldlabelWOW! what a welcome change. $3,400 though ???
They were $2000 in Japan a few years ago. -
@JerkStore They were $2000 14 years ago (see
here). Wonder if they're charging more for online made to measure. Even though they're not for me, I really appreciate that they're doing craft, artisanal stuff like this. It reminds me of Samurai's denim made with cotton that they grew themselves. It's stuff that doesn't add value to the product in the traditional sense, but its heckin cool. -
and here are my momotaros
