Thanks a bunch…been somewhat 8 months, but I need some variety now.

great pair Flo! is the denim cracking at the combs?
-
Thx! There are some minor cracks, not at the outer (light) comb lines, but on the inner lines. Hard to describe, but it looks a bit like on the hems, where the cuffs left their mark. you'll see tomorrow.

You'll read it tomorrow or on sunday I suppose. Will be a slimmer cut…

@Max:
Yes, that's true.
Vintage Label= 15,7 oz, zimbabwe cotton, unsanforized
Going to war= same denim, but one-wash, painted backpockets, it's also said to have an "anti-leg-twist" treatment, however that works (it works on mine).And the Going to War Series also has a shorter inseam 35" oppopsed to approx. 36,5" of the Vintage label (comes with 39,5" raw).
Ahhh, so the two lines ARE actually made from the same denim? I've been wondering this for some time, trying to decide between the 0701 and 0705SP. So….apart from the 0705SP being one-wash, i guess the decision is really based on whether or not I want the stripes on the back pocket.
Thanks for the info, Max Power.

Yes, and wether you want an longer inseam. I have both vintage and GTW label, they don't differ in fabric.

I found a US retailer that has the 0901 in stock size 36, I wear a size 34 in the 1955s cut…... since these are raw will a 36 be ok? I was thinking hot soak and warm dry.......
They probably will work, they should be a bit thinner through the seat and thighs than the IH 55 cut. They are a classic loose straight fit, but not quite as generous as the 55. Closer to the 634, I'd say. Since you're going up a size or so, that gives you the option to really try shrinking them down. Momotaros are really dark and don't seem to lose much indigo in a wash, so you can run them through the machine a couple of times without worrying about lots of fading. They also don't seem to stretch much, so whatever shrinkage you get, you'll probably keep.
Hope that helps.
