Self Edge x Iron Heart = SEXIH22-301s

Hmmm, sounds like I have research to do on openers. In theory, we'll be in the market for one in 4-5 months.
Our old place had a detached garage and the opener was still loud enough to hear inside the house.
-
Good move Chris. Find a quiet one if you can… when I was growing up a loud garage door opener was the herald of my parents coming home. Which meant I was able to hide the various things that needed hiding before they got inside the house. God bless that damn opener.

when ever I see your pictures I get inspired to wear my pair of 633 made of the same denim more often.
phenomenal job

Thank you very kind of you. However the fame belongs to the denim. I did not do anything special in them yet ::)

Those are looking really good!

Updated pictures after 500+ days of wear in the following Fade-Friday feature over at heddels :P:
In the meantime they have become pretty comfortable/sweatpants-like after beeing stiff as hell for years. Luckily I did not give up :-\

The crotch was ripped, so they needed another wash bevor visiting the taylor. Here they are clean and repaired at wear day 620. Looking forward to the winter season to wear them on a frequent basis again

WOW!! The LHT denim truly is glorious when people out in the time.
Glorious pair you have!

Thank you @Appfaff. The LHT is really something special. So sturdy to start with but now it has an almost velvet like touch and became insanely soft.
-
By now I need to hand them over to my tailor almost every month. Maybe it‘s time to focus on a new project soon. I guess, they could have survived even longer, if I would have gone for a more relaxed fit. Anyway: 720 days of wear and somehow I am not ready to give up on them yet. ::)

Absolutely fantastic!!!
Send to Rain at Indigoproof and she can rebuild them! IHJ AND IHUK do rebuilds too

Thank you all
@Appfaff: I used to bring the Jeans to the closest tailor from my home during the last years. That‘s the result:
It does the job, but doesn’t look really neat. Somehow I‘m worried that others might refuse to take care of them now and clean up all the mess which has been done to them.
-
@beef_bonanza maybe you ought to trade them in and treat yourself to a new pair?
-
@Filthy might be an option, if anyone is interested (I thought as the fabric is not used in other jeans and was done by SE, it might be not of interest for IHUK). I still have a few more jeans in the waiting line for heavy rotation (among them: PIH5DCT and 555-03)…but yeah, a new pair is always an option
-
My thoughts were, if you were to have Rain repair them, it would be an extensive repair… like probably over a $150 (just speculation) and that is if you are lucky enough to get on her wait list (that opens April 1st and I am not sure of what time...). Or you could trade them in and put the repair money towards a new pair. They are very awesome jeans. Maybe Kiya might want them framed and hanging in a store somewhere.
But you have 2 other pairs so I'd just wear those.
