That seat is perfect for the Thruxton. I dig the red stitching.
-
With the Rizoma retro reverse mirrors. Pretty happy with the outcome.
-
Those bar-end mirrors are a big improvement. I'm looking forward to seeing the bike with the indicators and tail-tidy in place.
I'm thinking of getting the humpback seat with the gold stitching to match the Ohlins suspension, though I agree that the red looks great. I might get the quilting extended down the sides, as that would tidy up the seam at the start of the hump, and up the back panel. The former is a standard option, the latter might be a bit of an ask.
There's also a matching tank strap.

We just had a visit from Bryan (top chap from Woking) & his week old, pride & joy BMW R9T. He left rocking a cuffed pair of 666S-18 & even let @Sam have a ride around the carpark.. Surprisingly enough, he didn't offer me a ride (we've all seen the side of my poor car now haven't we)

(we've all seen the side of my poor car now haven't we)
actually no i have not. and with all the bmw motorrad bikes, i can't wait till the day i get my s1000rr. i know it's a different crowd to what's on here, but i've got a serious lust for it.
-
I like that idea @Graeme! Can't wait to see how it turns out.
I like how people are making the RnineT their own. I like the style ^
@louisbosco That looks like pure riding joy.
-
@summ3rhays i have to admit, i've got a soft spot for supersport bikes. think 1299s panigale, rsv4 or this s1000rr. currently though i'm allowed to ride up to 650cc but my ninja250r is getting me the experience i need.
i've test rode the 1299s and the s1000rr and i feel the s1000rr is more daily friendly.
p.s Akra is to bmw as to termi to ducati

@louisbosco OUCH!
-
OUCH!
hahaha oh my. even the mirror has to be held together by sticky tape. surprising that the paint's still intact where the dent is. what exactly happened?
-
@Lindsey did Bryan get to take his bike home at the end of the day, or does @Sam still have it?
Your wing mirror is looking a bit sorry for itself.
@louisbosco if you want to do the S1000RR thing, then get the HP4 Race when it comes out. You might have to sell both kidneys to afford it…
The kid on the Iron Heart bike is very cute.
-
i remember you showing me that before. i also remember that it costs about the same as the h2r.
-
I can safely say my bike is with ME
Had a great experience at Ironheart yesterday (even though Paula's cup of tea never materialised ;)) and will certainly be back down for some other bits….. and a cuppa.
-
@bryaneidins70 - it was great to see you.
I am so embarrassed I completely forgot your tea - I do apologise! I hope my poor hospitality won't stop you from visiting us again in the future, [url=https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=10500]@Sam will never forgive me!
-
You looked busy yesterday Paula. I wil most definitely be back down.
-
-
@bryaneidins70 I'm glad to hear that your bike remained in your possession. It's a nice looking machine, and I've got a soft spot for the Boxers. Sorry to hear that @Madame Buttonfly didn't supply you with tea, though.
@Sam did you make it to Alton? We need
bike pornphotos of the Racer!@louisbosco I thought that I'd posted it before. Ah well, never hurts to have a second viewing.

@louisbosco he had a little dispute with a massive metal animal transporter trailer. Needless to say, he lost
