no worries mate.
the 360 lens will record a 360 view at all time. it doesn't matter if you set it front or rear when you start recording. the magic is when you review the footage, it allows you to edit where you wanna view, set keyframes to rotate or track items in the direction as you want the camera to do so. you will be allowed to view 360 view for the duration of your recording and choose the set parameters you wanna export.
I mean we're talking auto panning in/out, fisheye 360/ tiny planet that you're on top of the world kinda views. think of it as your personal google street view.

realistically, you're only working with 10mins of total useable footage from a 1-2hr clip. so essentially, maybe 200-300mb per 2 min videos, which is pretty standard. with that being said, 15 -20gb of 30min - 1hr footage isn't too bad, considering it's 4k 60fps.
micro sd cards are getting cheaper by the year so it's not too bad overall.
-
I've found this little niggle with the camera where if your battery dies while you're recording. the file becomes corrupt as it isn't able to properly save the gyro data. bit of a hassle when you're not paying attention to the camera while you're doing long recordings.

Really excited! Finally got my 2022 Triumph Street Twin today. Man I love this bike. It’s so smooth and super torquey at lower RPMs. It’s a hell of an upgrade from my old KLR 650. Perfect mix of modern and classic
-
Sweet ride @Choko ! And a huge change from your KLR. Do you plan to keep her as is? I usually change very few things on my bikes. Enjoy it in good health!
-
@Choko welcome to the triumph club. enjoy the journey..
-
@motojobobo I plan on making a ton of changes! Exhaust, seat, fender eliminator are first. Then a bunch of other small stuff and eventually I want to paint the tank and air box covers a different color.
Thanks! @Dmart and @louisbosco!
-
@Choko as a 2022 Street Scrambler rider welcome! I've had mine for a couple months now and have loved every minute of it. Congrats
-
I’ve seen your bike @Joberwocky shes a beaut! It was actually between that exact bike and the street twin and someone bought the scrambler the day before lol. All good! I loved them both
-
Thanks @Choko , I'll tell you I'm straight jealous of that beautiful blue tank

@goosehd was a tiring day through those hairpins. gotta catch a rest while I can.
-
Cool video @louisbosco
The shifting perspective makes for a very flowing and inmersive feel. At some points it is hard to understand what kind/degree of a curve it is as the shifting perspective fools the viewer. For a while it gave the impression that the bike’s dash was misaligned with the axis of the bike! Thank you for sharing!
-
cheers mate!
I think there's always gonna be a misalignment when I can't mount the camdead centre. realise it when I was looking through some clips for a screenshot. that said, the constant hairpins was a little hard to edit. I just didn't know where to put it key frame at otherwise it might rotate too quick..
