…I never thought I needed tech or that power coming from a 2012 speed triple. but that first ride back from the dealership showed me how far motorcycle technology had advanced..
I don’t need to read this @louisbosco , please refrain.
I still believe my 2014 BMW R1200R is lightning quick and monster torquey!!! No spare change in pocket for m’cycles left after our IH habits here. -
@Dmart different bikes for different days of the week you have the harleys for the weekend cruise and the Streetfighter to carve canyons
I initially set out looking for a comfort long distance bike. initial requirements was cruise control, space for luggage. GS, tiger, you name it.
plan went out the window and ended up with a v4s which is no different to me speed triple 1050. single seater, no fuel gauge, no cruise control

@motojobobo oh they're a nifty motorcycle. just think of me like the devils temptation
-
@louisbosco if I could choose, I would get a street glide for cruising and trips with the lady, a panigale (over the streetfighter maybe) for the canyons and my sporty/Softail for the fun
-
@Dmart depends how much your back can take. I test rode the panigale in absence of the SF to get a feel for the engine. my back was ready to call it quits after 10mins.
-
@louisbosco is it such a big difference? I think I would be fine. I race bicycles so I am used to the position.
-
@Dmart yeah that's fair. maybe it's more of a me thing, having issue with my back from football/soccer. the panigale is a beauty nonetheless

Installed the 100th anniversary decals on the FXRT fairing this morning and it’s ready for clear! Might get some riding with it before the snow comes. The side covers will be gloss black.
It was someone on here that asked me to keep the Anniversary paint scheme and I’m so glad I complied. The silver/black 100th is the ONLY factory scheme I like, and making it more special to me is the addition of the side covers and the FXRT fairing to make it “one off” and trick. Baja design headlight and side light with pods will be installed as well.

Traded in my tiny triumph for a Harley. It’s so much more comfortable for me being 6’2. 2020 Road Glide in “Spruce”. It’s a greenish grey color. Bike came with 14” meat hook handlebars and CFR slip-ons already.
First night I put on OEM halo switchback turn signals in the front and rear -
Thanks @Matt

would love to see that colour in the sun!

Thank you @endo and I’ll post a picture in the sun maybe today or tomorrow @louisbosco
