^and i know to who they belong to! great choice andi!
I'm looking for rugged solid comfortable waterproof hiking/work boots… In the 200 range. Wtf
not sure, but you're in the viberg thread, so what answer do you expect?
maybe ask in a different/appropriated thread to get an answer on this…but if you want a viberg in that range, it's a mission impossible I'm affraid (unless it's heavily fekked!)!...DD - love the look of that service boot, but i'd also say/advice you to wait on the next round of G's custom order. you're going to be even more satisfied with wearing a boot you've put all the love and ideas into, as one that everybody can buy/have/wear and one that you're not that blown away from!...

And scroll down a few posts for the spec. I will be doing a "call for custom orders" early in the New Year….
DAMN! will be saving for then!!!

Oh, this thread will be bombed…

I've only seen one square toed viberg hiker before, are these the ones you mean?
I haven't seen that pair before. The ones I saw were these.
-
I hate to admit this…but I'm really starting to jonze for those hikers...how many 'burgs is too many?

anyone owns the 1950 service boot and can shed some light on it? they look mad rad
Hi supersalami lots of our friends incl myself own a 50's service boot around, look at the last pages. They come in different styles and looks (toe cap, no toe cap, sole, leather, color etc). Which one do you like? I went for a clean classy but rough look with mine and they fitted me the best. Cant go wrong with the 50's
-
id be want ing to call a 50's service in horsehide seriously. or a 2 tone engineers in 2021 sole
Yeah demonito horsehide is insane in vibergs. Loving my VMC jubilee collabo engineer in horsehide very much, they had a limited run in the 50's too, i believe Finn has some pics he took while he was at the party then. Maybe somebody of the forum owns the VMC jubilee Service Boot and like to share it?

@Dirty:
Anyone ever deal with the online site ushowu? They are out of the Netherlands and have a pair of service boots I want. Are they reputable ? Here's the link to the pair they have for sale. http://www.ushowu.com/viberg-vintage-service-boot-rough-out
Nice boots and ushowu is legit.

I'm undecided, so I'll ask for input from you folks. Should I go with the leather laces or the waxed cotton laces?
leather:
waxed cotton:

IMO 100% leather laces…I feel like the cotton take away from the look of the boot
I have a stupid question...why is it that Viberg does not sell their service boot on their site? It's only available as a custom build. U would think it would be available in some way or fashion
-
^agreed, I like the contrast
