I would use the cream, it will come out way more even, especially on the first application, then if you wanna use the liquid it's fine. Personally, for boots, I think the cream is always the way to go however.

perfect since i already have a tub of the cream.
thanks for the word z, we will see how this goes

yawn, superdenim joints i picked up
look like cheese tims & i like my cheese timbs heel better than the heels these came with. i'm also peeved cause i got no leather laces & the rough out looks like someone roughed them out. the construction is topnotch & above any timberland, but the rough out on my timbs looks so pretty when new & then wear in. these . . . well you tell me.
sent an email to superdenim complaining & will see what happens. i mean at least leather laces like in the advertised picture, jeez
-
nah, i agree too the tilt, i'm in talks with them right now to remedy the situation. will let you all know how it goes
for the money i could of bought a few pairs of cheese timbs & been good for a few months

Mixed bag for you then Monday?
The rough out on your vibergs is the real deal - it is not suede, nor has the reverse side been "shaved" as per timberland to give a uniform effect
IMO the actual quality of leather is a league above timberland as well
Totally agree with you on the laces point - viberg normally come with both nylon and leather laces to suit usage (they are work boots after all)
The sole unit (vibram 2021) is good quality although i think it has been sone to death along with the other vibram wedge
But . . . Sad to see you're now dealing with superdenim (please don't ask me my opinion because I'll only say they are feckin hopeless and shouldn't be allowed to sell such great clothes and I don't want to have to say that . . . ). Plus I think these boots were samples so they might tell you there weren't any rawhide laces included
Anyroadup hope they grow on you and you get to enjoy them - a very nice bargain

tbh these doesn
t look like the ones on their sale page at all…well except the soles... but you
re right about the look of the leather...looks like worn for a few times and then cleaned with some sort of brush, so that the actual look of the rughout is already gone...and these laces doesn`t to the trick at all imo...leather laces would make these look 1000times better...
keep us updated! -
Geo as is the norm you give well informed insight & make me appreciate the boot a bit more. I am in talks for laces & possibly something else to shut me up. They did state that the boot was a sample & that is why they were so inexpensive. They actually advised that they sell the boot for 700.00 which made me laugh seeing as how the IHXViberg collab is only a few dollars more, how could they sell these for 700.00???
In any event I will keep you posted.

Please do good sir
The boot (or very similar) was selling on their website with an original price of £395 (roughly $650)
Then the sale commenced and they were selling then as marked down from about £500 or so
Hopefully they'll send your laces but why not just phone up viberg and aak for some? Maybe someone we know could sort that for you . . . ?
I know there's always an individuals view to consider but they really improve with age and wear
Btw - what size did you go for and how do you find the fit?
