Viberg

Thanks for posting the comparison pics. Really interesting to see them up close and side by side. Really highlights the refined build quality of the Vibergs.
From what it looks like, your service boots are built on the 2045 last. I've found mine on the 2045 to be less than forgiving out of the box, but get the sense over time they'll gradually mold beautifully to the shape of my feet.
Either way, both your pairs are pretty great.

Thanks Tod, I think you've just closed the Viberg vs Whites discussions for good :). Lots of minor differences that make up to be a huge difference.
RE:Viberg, as with peezlep, as long as you've correctly sized the Vibergs I'm sure they'll become super amazing. All their different lasts make it somewhat difficult to get a great toe and heel fit, but once you find it, game on!
If you're a UK8.5 let me know -
shell cordovan black service toe cap boot $1100

Loving the Snuff for the IH Boondocker run. Any chance of making it with a toe cap? Just to make them a little different.
You're going to hate me sorry. I'm not a toe cap or Dainite kind of guy, so no go…..

I would have loved snuff roughout Boondockers on 2030 last & Dainite sole (2030 last because it fits so well for me and Dainite sole because I feel that rubber sole would be more true to the original style than leather sole + it is more suitable for winter). Anyway, I have no doubts that it will be a great boot which ever the final specs will be. It is almost a relief that the specs won't be identical to what I'm looking after on this one as I've already got two pairs of Vibergs recently.
