        @Scottystyles:

        Loving the Snuff for the IH Boondocker run. Any chance of making it with a toe cap? Just to make them a little different.

        You're going to hate me sorry.  I'm not a toe cap or Dainite kind of guy, so no go…..

          I would have loved snuff roughout Boondockers on 2030 last & Dainite sole (2030 last because it fits so well for me and Dainite sole because I feel that rubber sole would be more true to the original style than leather sole + it is more suitable for winter). Anyway, I have no doubts that it will be a great boot which ever the final specs will be. It is almost a relief that the specs won't be identical to what I'm looking after on this one as I've already got two pairs of Vibergs recently.

                    In all probability I will do a leather sole and no toe cap.

                    But it looks like a lot of you would prefer an alternative build.  If you can find a minimum of 3 like minded individuals then I can make what you want….

                          I could be down with this. Would definitely make a video for sure. My work is more consistent instead of busy for the next 5 months. 😉

                            Must say I'm a big fan of the leather sole / dainite heal combo in this image from the Viberg Tumblr:

                            I'm not against leather soles, but destroy dovetail heals very quickly.  leather sole / cats paw heal could also work.

                              Seconded on destroying the dove tail heal so easy. A full Dainite heal would be much better. Way longer lasting. I've only had mine a couple of months and it's getting worked!!  No toe cap on big deal.. I also like the fake toe cap stitch job on Rafa's olive pair.

                                  Cheers!  They really are beautiful boots.  MTO.  They are on the 110 last (same as the boondockers on Viberg.com, though in person the toe does not turn up as much as it looks like in the boondocker pic). I think the toe is "partially structured."  I actually would have preferred a more rounded toe, as well as silver eyelets.  But I think Morgan and I got signals crossed a bit, and I ended up with "gunmetal" eyelets rather than silver, and I am pretty sure, though not positive, that this is not a "fully" structured toe, but rather a partially structured one.

                                  These are made with Viberg's high quality Horsehide leather, which I have decided is my true love in the world of boot leather, but I think that is no longer available for MTO's (though you can find it on some special projects, like the new VMC boots).  Black smooth or CXL would be the closest now I guess.

                                    Tod, thanks for the info mate. I guess there is always the black shell cordovan (more expensive) or CXL. Nickel eyelets look good as well (talking for me that is). Bummer you didn't get exactly what you wanted. Sheit!! .. Hahaa, you've got me worried. I have two pairs coming :/. Should be fine though..

                                    Still mate, they look great regardless. Still a great score. But I understand, you pay every penny for them, it's good to know your getting what you ask for.

                                      Yeah, I'd be totally happy if it wasn't for the heel slip I am experiencing.  Still trying to decide if I can tolerate it, which I want to, especially since this may be my last chance at a pair of HH's.  But it's possible these will go on the auction block.  (Size 10, BTW…)

                                        Bummer! I'm 9 in 110 and 2045. Yeah, I get heal slip in my 110 as well. But not as noticeable with thick socks. 2045 has no heal slip for and perfect up front (about the same as 110).

                                        Btw, here's a sneak peak at my two pairs inbound soon. Size 9 Whiskey Scotch Grain Cavalier and Brown Wax Flesh. Can't wait!!
