IH-666SII - 18oz Indigo/Indigo Slim Cut Jean
-
@Sam sorry this camera is so beat… I'm enjoying the somewhat relaxed fit with these. I wanted something more comfortable for everyday wear.
-
That shirt is over 20 years old. I only wear it a couple times per year.

The 666 cut is definitely my favourite. It's fits right in all the places it's supposed to. Anyway, am treating myself to a new pair of jeans for my birthday (I'm nice to myself like that sometimes) and I don't know where to start. Once upon a time back when I bought my first pair of IH it was a choice between the 634s, 666 and BBs. The business has come on so much in such a short period of time that opting for the 666 is just the beginning.
There's so much to choose within the cut. I really like these though and the 666 21oz and the ducks. I like the Rivet and Hide collaboration too. The definition of first world problems of course but I'm like a duck in thunder when it comes to choosing. Oh…the UHRs ain't half bad either. Oh for the simpler times when you decided 666 and that was it. Choice made!

I washed my IHXB01-25 and they shrunk so much they're WAY TOO TIGHT to deal with now. (Beer drinking and eating season) the good news is these are very comfy, roomy, and super soft. Even after just 3 days of wear. Fading like crazy, and constant blue hands. Should be a pretty interesting evolution.

IH666SII
2015-11-16 - 160 days 1st machine wash. 30 degrees and took them out before the spin cycle started.
Sadly the combs have started to crack on my right leg. I need to put some stitches into them to keep it at bay. they tend to crack on all my jeans. Even the ones I have washed alot.

I tried to take some photos yesterday of my pair and Enells pair. But we took the pictures during the afternoon when light was really bad.
The photos did not turn out very great. We need to redo it soon I think.
Anyway. Here are the picture.Enell has soaked his pair one more time since last time and I have washed my pair in a machine (30 degrees).
Left: My pair 166 days (01 soak, 00 hand washes, 01 machine wash)
Right: @enell s pair 220 days (02 soaks, 00 hand washes, 00 machine wash)Here they are compared to my IH666S - 424 days (08 soak, 00 hand washes, 04 machine wash)

@nizzel55 thanks for these photos, and for all your interesting evo photos on this thread which have been really cool to see.
your pair is looking great. I am about 2 months into mine and it's nice to see how they might evolve.

It's really remarkable how soft these are and how fast they fade. They're like 25 oz xhs soft… without the girth. I really appreciate them. Thanks to G, H, and crew!

I love u @nizzel55
great shots & as always thanks for sharing

Thanks! @madmonday @thomas01 @den213 and @Peter
I am pretty happy with how they are progressing. Should have washed them earlier then I did. I was just so damn happy with the state they where in.
Will be fun seeing how they will look after the DWC is finished.
I am a bit unhappy with the cracking of the combs. I tend to get that on all my jeans for some reason. Even the ones I have washed regularly and often from the start.
I put some stitches in them to prevent the unravelling -
Hi @nizzel55 , great photos and I am always interested to see how your pair is progressing as I am about 3 months behind you. Out of interest why do you say you wish you had washed them earlier?
-
@babyknight maybe an early wash would result in getting less cracks at the combs. I tend to get it on all my jeans though. Even the ones I wash regularly. So I do not know.
