Hey guys,
For those of you who don't know, Neighborhood is a Japanese brand of denim, urban, and technical wear. They offer a wide variety of washed and raw denims with great attention to detail and strong company morals in quality. The Neighborhood S/S collection looks to take a lot of influence from turn of the century fashion trends a là Oliver Twist or Gangs of NY in a way that's similar to Comme des Garçon, Visvim, and Ganryu, yet more clean and modern.
When compared to a brand like Ironheart with a strong focus on vintage Americana and zero regard for any kind of high fashion, Neighborhood will undoubtably not get much praise around here. Regardless- I recently picked up a pair of 14oz indigo selvedge denim and I couldn't be more impressed. They are meticulously crafted, no nonsense jeans. Excellent cut, beautiful deep indigo, red selvedge ID, chainstitched with heavy gold thread, very heavy duty rivets, subtle herringbone pocketbacks- literally everything I could want in a medium weight denim. I love my Ironhearts, and I truly believe they do the ultimate in heavy denim, but these are definitely worth a look for something a bit different.

Still no better fit pics but here are some detail shots. These are the indigo narrow fit in size large. I've worn these three times now and starting to love them. The fit is definitely different than what I'm used to with pretty tight thighs compared to most IH but they do fit really great and I'm getting used to them quickly. Enjoy!
